Omelet with Bacon--Bacon Bits rolled up in my egg. I expected strips of bacon. Must have been a cup of bacon bits, awful. Rye... toast was good. Sorry, disappointed, was recommended by the local people. Read more

Despite arriving 15 minutes before closing, was warmly welcomed. Both omelettes- cheese and Greek were excellent. Server did a... terrific job - she was attentive, friendly. Wish dishes came with home fries, also toast served with jelly, preferablymarmalade. Otherwise, well done!! Read more

Fast service. No wait for us at 9 am Saturday. I had the eggs Benedict. One of the poached eggs was hard, but it didn?t really... matter because everything tasted really good. The home fries were great. My husband also enjoyed his waffle. Tasted like anapple pie. Read more

Good breakfast joint at a reasonable price. Crepes with hot apples & veggie omelet both were tasty and well prepared. Wait... staff all by college students and was OK. Seats near back are noisy as there?s no kitchen door. Read more

Nice place to bring the family for breakfast. Went with a few buddies this morning, interesting experience... A lot of... waitresses sitting in booths when we walked in socializing and what not. Waitress questioned her co-worker on why she sat us inher section... didn't like us off the bat. My grilled cheese was semi-undercooked however pickle slices were up to par. Bottomline... it's mid. - Captain Hat in the Ray Banz Read more

The service here is very good and our waitress was pleasant and quick. The atmosphere is very fast paced, and unfortunately that... is reflected in the poor food quality. I ordered pancakes and eggs. The pancake flavor was pretty good, but you could tell theyhad been sitting in a warming tray because they were tough and stuck together. The eggs were overcooked, slightly burnt anddried out - also indicative of a warming tray. Think of eating eggs from a buffet. My wife got the stuffed french toast whichshe said wasn't amazing, but it was okay. All of this also added up to $30 - way too much for what we got. I wouldn't go again. Read more

We had heard great reviews from several friends about Uncle Bill's, so we had to try it out today while visiting Avalon. Sadly... we were disappointed. We got takeout because their website said they were only open for outside seating (and it was 38 degreestoday), but when my husband picked up the food there were people sitting inside. If we had known that we would have gonein-person. Anyway, there were four of us eating - my husband and I, and our 3 and 5 year olds. They had no kids menu, so weordered strawberry pancakes, french toast, stuffed french toast, and bacon/sausage sides. The french toast was super sadlooking. It was literally just two pieces of sandwich bread with some cinnamon. The pancakes didn't have any strawberries insideof them, only sliced on top (which looks pretty, but that's not what we ordered). Plus the pancakes themselves were reallybland. My husband's stuffed french toast consisted of two pieces of the sad french toast with a little cinnamon creme stuffing. He was still hungry after eating it (and he's not a big guy). I wouldn't have been all that upset if we hadn't paid $63 dollarsfor bland diner food. Our family has gone out to eat at places like Turning Point or First Watch for way better food, more ofit, and less money. I really wanted to like this place because I love family owned and operated places rather than chains, butthe food was super bland and REALLY expensive for what you get. Read more
