Had dinner here this week with a party of 3. Service was fine, but we know now why there were only 2 other tables occupied. ... Prices are high, portions small (even in a post Covid world with supply and labor issues and given the location). The saladsthat came with the entree had one slice of cucumber and no tomato and the house dressing was all oil, no vinegar. Our dinners(linguini and one small meatball, a chicken dinner) were so bland we could not rescue it by adding pepper, salt and gratedcheese. Sorry, but you really need to look elsewhere. But the good news - we went out for a light dinner afterwards that wasfun at the beach bar/restaurant at Icona Avalon. Read more

Excellent Italian. The salad dressing is homemade and fantastic. On this day, they were short handed, like the rest of the... world, but did a great job with dining experience. Read more

We got a last minute reservation. Food was excellent, the waitress was very busy, but handled it well. Prices are reasonable. ... Great value for the money. Will be back next year, probably twice during our week. Read more

When I was here the waitress we had was miserable, and it took close to an hour for a party of 3 to receive their food. Via Mare... is a BYOB restaurant and when we wanted to open our bottle of wine they wouldn?t do it for us. They gave us a bad opener and itwas nearly impossible to open. Before our dinner was served (after an hour) they gave us dinner salads which were absolutelypositively disgusting. When we got our food it was extremely underwhelming. In years past this place has been very good, but thelast time I was their will be the last time Via Mare received my money. Read more

Best Italian food in the area, has a unique atmosphere. Combine that with authentic Italian cuisine, and you?ve reached heaven... on earth. Veal, pasta, seafood it doesn?t matter, it?s all amazing! Not to mention the amazing bread and house made saladdressing! On top of that it?s a family owned and operated restaurant. Been going there since I could walk! A must for anyonevisiting or local to the area! Read more
