Second visit and once again a fabulous meal. We ordered a couple appetizers and the provolone wheel was great paired with the... house marinara sauce, the zucchini planks were bread and fried perfectly. I had the chicken with red and banana peppers andpasta which were cooked perfect and the flavor combo was great. Both my husband and sister-in-law both enjoyed their veal andeggplant. My first time there, I will be back. Lovely little family owned restaurant , just what you want from an Italian restaurant . The... staff was wonderful, they went way above the call of duty. I was a part of a party of 14 people. We had a private room. The family was very accommodating and the waitress was wonderful.... The decorations were so appropriate to an Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the Cod Romano and a side ofspinach. Oh the spinach was delicious. I had never tasted spinach cooked like this. It's a nice place, but plan ahead when you visit. They're BYOB, so grab a bottle of wine en route if you don't have one handy.... The service is friendly, but they're aren't in any kind of a rush. You'll be spending a good amount of time here; it's not anin-and-out kind of place. Pick a night when you don't have anywhere to be afterwards. Also, if you're hungry, grab a snackbefore coming. A fair amount of time can pass between being seated and eating. The food is tasty. I had the gnocchi and fell inlove with the sauce. I had to take my dog, Caleb, to the emergency department at PVSEC. He had to stay for hours and I was stressed and starving. I... found Mia Madre Trattoria online and headed on over. I am in love with this place! Over the top Christmas decorations whichmake it feel so homey. Delicious food! Most importantly, a friendly and caring staff. They were booked but found a little tablefor me which I so much appreciated. One of the owners, Shari, came over and talked to me a bit about my dog's situation. Sheeven gave me a bracelet blessed by the Pope! I was overcome. Everything about this restaurant was exactly what I needed at thetime.
