I wish I knew this guy?s name. But he was making fun of my mom?s Spanish accent when she was trying to order. She was really... trying her best to pronounce the order to make him understand and he?d just laugh and say what what after she spoke. So ifEnglish is not your first language or you have a strong accent, don?t come here. Read more

I have been going to the Avenel Boston market location for a while, usually get turkey or meatloaf, usually good, tonight I was... craving rotisserie chicken, there specialty, it was "horrible " small, burned and dry, I should have read the reviews first. It's a shame because the staff is always professional and polite I'm sure this was a management decision to cut costs in thiseconomy, from now on I'll go to the local supermarket and get rotisserie chicken for cheaper and better. I remember when this place (Avenel, NJ) was good. The last 2 times (one time bad, I decide to give it another try) the food was... horrible. The "grilled" nuggets looked uncooked and were slimy. The mashed potatoes were crusty and obviously old. Thevegetables were the only thing sort of edible. My 2nd time I ordered the turkey. It was dry and tasted like cold cut meat. Thepotatoes were the same as last time. Like I said, the place used to be good. I doubt I will order it again any time soon and donot recommend it. Read more

Dry chicken, overcooked noodles, tasted like sadness. Mashed potatoes and gravy were ok.

I visited the Avenel location on August 17 at 7:11. I ordered two spicy chicken nugget meals with drinks. After arriving home... almost a half an hour later I saw that both meals were signature chicken and not spicy. I contacted the restaurant and spokewith the manager and she informed me that if I come in the next day that she would replace both meals in its entirety. Ireturned the next day to receive the correct meals and I was informed by another manager that he was only going to replace thechicken. As far as I?m concerned the customer is always right. Secondly it was the employee who messed up my order. Thirdly gasis too expensive to be traveling almost 25 minutes to get it ordered that should?ve been right the first time. Lastly managersneed to convey to other managers what was said in regards to what the customer is owed when the order is wrong. I am verydisappointed with this location and management. Read more

The prices are high and the service went low. Inflation is an under statement here. 3 piece chicken dark went from 9.99 to 12.99... in less than a month. They had 4 people working on 1 order and didnt bother to ask anybody else if they were being served. Sopeople are paying more for horrible service, well at least in this branch. RIP, not coming back here. Read more

I haven't been to Boston Market in ages but I had a coupon so decided to give it a go. When I arrived I parked in their lot and... walked in. I was served by Marie which was super quick with taking my order and payment. The place looked like I remembered. Iordered the 3 piece dark and 2 sides of rice and corn. It wasn't too bad price wise with the coupon. When I got to the car I atereal quick and I wasn't too pleased. The rice was nasty, the corn was ok, the cornbread was dry and the chicken was the onlything that was tasty. I won't be back for a long time. Read more

raised prices on thanksgiving, shame on them, profiteering only one meal you could have so you had no choice, served $18 lunch... sized portion turkey dinner. Served on a cheap looking TV dinner plate. Made my Thanksgiving even worse thinking about this, they didn't even give you a real plate so it felt like I was eating a decent meal. I guess it's the way of the world now smallrun of the mill meal for the highest price possible. Who cares about customer expirence, they just want the money aparently. Read more
