Can only give 5 stars but wish I could give more! From the ocean views and comfortable bistro-style seating to the excellent... food and the lovely staff, this place is ????! Excellent french restaurant in Avila. Its right on the waterfront and lots of outdoor seating available. We had a tartare... with quail egg. Also a Monsieur Sandwich. It was a hot day so also opted for a couple glasses of refreshing rose. Delicious and the perfect combo. The street musician on the skateboard was a disaster but what can you do. Wow. We were lucky enough to have Angela as our server who made our anniversary night perfect as was the food. From the support... staff to the owner this is a first class place. And the food was amazing too. Loved watching the sunset as enjoying an amazingmeal. A must go place. Read more
Had lunch here/3 couples. Nice French brunch menu. Four people got the salad with a nice piece of salmon on it and two of us got... the ham cheese mushroom veggie omelette that came with potatoes and a side salad. All were excellent and reasonably priced forbeing right on the boardwalk. Had a nice view of the sea. Interesting wine list. Friendly servers and since we were in a rushthey got our orders out nice and quick. Would love to have dinner there at sunset! Read more
Excellent food. Bistro salad dressing is light with great flavor and my husband loved the Caesar. I really enjoyed the mushroom... ravioli- pictured- with a huge variety of mushrooms. Husband loved the chicken, so tender he could cut with a fork, and the beerpictured was delicious. Only 4 stars because they’re very understaffed and service was very slow- but nice and polite waiters.Would come back for the food! Read more
I have been to Blue Moon Over Avila plenty of times, and the food and services have always been excellent. The outdoor seating... has a great ocean view, and it can get a little nipping, so bring a light jacket. As a local, I would love to eat here moreoften though it's a high tourist area and the wait time varies. Read more
The food tastes very good, and the French onion soup is great! Looking at the sea, listening to the guitars of street singers,... and eating delicious food, it's so pleasant! It is worth mentioning that the service is super good. This is a restaurant worthtrying. Read more
Great vegan choices, including the avocado tartine. The daily special dessert was vegan the day I visited, a brownie a la mode.... Both were very tasty! Nice outdoor patio with an ocean view. The staff is friendly and helpful too. Read more
