This place is one of the tastiest places I've ever been. The fish was so tender and soft and delicate. The fruity salsa-like... topping was absolutely delicious, and added really nice flavors to the fish, and the rice was well cooked and was sort ofcoconut-y tasting with a nice topping of a sauce that tasted great! The vegetables were also cooked really nicely and tastedvery good too :)) steak was really great and had a very good taste and texture, and they had a free bread basket with whippedgarlic butter. Customer service was great, and this place had nice seating. Wasn't too loud at all, and it was very very yummy!I would absolutely love to come here again, and all the dishes they had in the menu were pretty healthy, so it isn't hard tofind a healthy meal here that tastes absolutely wonderful! The views are great. Very limited GF options. Cross contamination not guaranteed if you have fish allergies. Had an overdressed... Cesar salad. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips with the only negative being the fish batter could have been better seasonedand crispier. The flat bread was ok as was the shrimp cocktail per our friends. Very nice location, Avila beach & pier are right across the street. Outdoor seating is also nice. Inside of restaurant is open,... simple, inviting nautical theme. I was there for lunch, had the Reuben Sandwich, not bad except for the mediocre thousand islanddressing, I'm guessing it comes in a can. Read more
We stopped in for a late drinks and dessert. Yum! We were seated and served quickly and the hot apple pie wrap might be the most... delicious dessert we've ever had! Highly recommend. The Ocean Collins drink is what I like to call a "spa water" drink. It's arefreshing cocktail with cucumber and mint and feels perfect for the beach. Read more
Excellent place for breakfast! Eggs Benedict and shrimp omelettes. Yum! Friendly service, prices okay. You can sit outside if... you want. There is a bar here. You can have bloody marys for breakfast. It's right on the beach. Read more
They have 3 seating choices: 1) Inside; 2) Outside under heaters but slightly off of the boardwalk; 3) outside next to... boardwalk (we chose #3). Wife had Clam Chowder...raved about it the whole meal. Suggested to a friend who went the nextday...he raved about it (and he ate Splash's the day before and said Custom House beats it). We also ordered the Fish andChips...they were just OK. Missing something in the batter, but the fish was cooked to perfection. And also order thenachos...layered and baked. Quite good. Delicious, fresh food right on the ocean. Steller service by Pete, very dog friendly. A must if your in the area!! The Kombucha... was divine, best I've ever had! Pineapple Chili. Accommodating to gluten free. Delicious desserts too! Only bummer is I got asunburn...wish all their tables had an umbrella. Read more
