I got here what was possibly the largest breakfast burrito that I have ever eaten, or at least so it seemed at the time. The... sausage was good, the eggs, the cheese. It was just what we needed at the beginning of a drive home across four states. Read more

Shocked at all the positive reviews, I ordered the eggs Florentine and a side of ?extremely crispy bacon? the bacon was not... crispy even after sending it back. The bernaise sauce was horrible and the potatoes tasted like old grease. Took over an hourfor the food to arrive. Very disappointed Read more

Definitely the worst breakfast place I have ever been. First, we were waiting for menus for 15 minutes, than for food over one... hour. Food was dropped on the table followed by the check without even checking with us if everything is ok. When I notified theserver that my order is wrong, she took a plate without even saying anything. Finally got my correct order with cold side andsoaking wet bread. When I asked for another peace of bread I was charged for it as extra. No one bothered to bring us checkuntil I had to walk to the register and asked for it. Also noticed that all the servers caring plates with their shirt touchingthe food. Definitely not coming back. Breakfast finally outside. From the griddle, three pancakes (meat does not come with these) and a side of bacon ($4.25); ?Eggs... Served Your Way? ? two scrambled, home fries, bacon and rye toast; four mugs of coffee, two each, serve yourself inside GreenMountain thermos station. Pleasant new staff. Eggs were just right. The bacon was forgotten but brought out when I mentionedthis to staff. My partner would have passed on the colored shots on his pancakes. Good home fries. # Returning for four take-outsandwiches in Jan. it was good to see the indoor seating. Tables are spaced or with screens between them. We got two chickensalads, a Reuben with corned beef and a Pinchot Stackamore Club. All came with a pickle and bag of potato chips. Breakfastnext. # Going to this part of town, I looked for a place nearby I could meet a family member for something to eat. I looked atRiverdale Farms as we've frequented this location to use different services for decades. It's a lovely country setting whereretailers have barn like structures and green lawn lots. Avon mountain is behind the shops with the Heublein Tower inview. Avon Country Deli was new to us as we hadn't discovered it in the back of the complex. Photos showed it had a large patiowith tables and umbrellas for outside seating, and as it was a beautiful summer day and their menu had the fare we were lookingfor, it was the perfect choice. This is a mixed review as five of us had different experiences with our orders. One had a houseice tea & lemonade which was really good. The two people who had take-out sandwiches were very happy with their choices. Somesandwiches on the menu are named after local Avon fixtures, and one of them, Governor's Horse Guard, with roast beef, provolone, horseradish sauce, lettuce and tomato on rye, had a good portion of roast beef that was rare as I was told. The recipient gaveit 4 out of 5 stars. The chicken salad on white our other take-out recipient loved. She added more lettuc Read more

With perfect weather I wanted an outdoor breakfast venue. And this place is just awesome. Tucked away in a plaza away from a... busy road. It just calls you to sit back and relax. I love that they have serve yourself unlimited water and coffee. Genius! Thecorned beef hash was unique and amazing. Everything was fresh and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely go back.
