We were told they no longer carry egg bagels. Not that they were out, but that they no longer have them at all. Then I went to... jiffy lube, and they said they no longer do oil changes. Went to this location yesterday morning around 8:30am and ordered two breakfast sandwiches, 6 bagels and a coffee. My husband's... sandwich was pretty good except the bacon wasn't pepper bacon and it was undercooked. My sandwich had completely brown guac onit. Three of the six bagels were completely malformed (see photos) - we should've looked in the bag. For $6.75 I got the most adorably sized bagel sandwich... I'm an adult, this should be on the kids menu. Also the meat was cold,... like out of the fridge cold.. and my egg had no yolk and wasn't even a fresh cracked egg!!! Only Dunkin has the balls to dothat. I'm so disappointed. I come from waterbury, stop by Ami's on east main st to see what a Real bagel shop is all about! We just went to your location in Avon. Never felt like service was so unwanted before. Staff was unkind, downright rude, ,... walked away when ordering, walked away when paying, and when we went to sit down, told us you could not eat in. There?s no signssaying this, or any reason we could see that we could not eat in. She unkindly, and without explanation, said you can eat acrossthe street at the picnic tables. There was one table that was sectioned off and broken. There was one adult, and two kiddos, sowe ate in the car. We had purchased some to take and some to partake there. The staff raised their voice when ordering an ?upcharged? item, and which we were absolutely fine with, the upcharge, not the attitude. So disappointed with the service. Afraidto try and go back. I have been to the Avon Bruegger's many times over the years and never felt inspired to write a review. Fresh bagels and a good... cup of coffee. So why only 3 stars? Although I obviously enjoy the bagels, at a certain point somebody needs to speak up aboutthe sanitary conditions. Have you looked up at the ceiling recently? Guys, your store is filthy. Even the entrance to yourstore is filthy. This place needs a good scrubbing or Bruegger's Bagels will soon become Bruegger's Dysentery. Read more

Ordered a dozen bagels. Up charged for premium bagels (cheese topped). One dozen and a tub of cream cheese cost $23! Bagels... are completely flat and not worth the premium charge. Incredibly disgusted with quality and cost and will never purchase fromhere again! Read more
