Had lunch at BEANZ inside the Pasta Company. Pricey but very good. Decent size portions. Nice staff.
This review is based on the catered food New England Pasta Company provided for a convention at a nearby brewery. Thumbs up on... all of it. Everyone commented on the shrimp platters. Large count size with lemon seasoning. The tenderloin sliders with greenswere exceptional and had a different twist using horseradish aioli on the rolls instead of something more traditional. Grilledchicken skewers were really tender and did not lack seasoning. Two crostini dishes with goat cheese were both successful, onewith caramelized onions and the other I believe with prosciutto, had both crunch and flavor. The antipasto platter waslush. The only thing that didn't work as well as everything else were the mini BLT's on biscuits, which were dominated by thetomato even though the right portion of bacon was used but was now cool. Fresh crudité was also available. Two dessert traysprovided biscotti and iced shortbread cookies. Until I actually eat in the restaurant, 4.5 stars, but this is absolutely aplace to order party food from if having an event. Read more
The service and food were excellent. My friend and I had the berry ???? salad and we loved it. They were large and delicious. The grilled meats were very tender and moist, accompanied with avariety of sauces. New England Pasta is flexible & accommodating to work with, advising on options, portions & amounts neededfor your number of guests with no skimping. The food is phenomenal!!! The menu has something for everyone and everything is fresh and delicious! This has become our go to... place for catering on the holidays. Our family and friends always look forward to it. Kim and her staff are so friendly andhelpful. The trip is a little far from where we live but it is so worth it. I adore this business. We have been clients for years, and when the Route 44 restaurant opened we were delighted. The food is... fresh and interesting, and the catering, which we have also used twice, is beautiful done, and carefully planned. We said whatwe needed, they made suggestions, and everything was perfect and stress-free for us. It's one of the friendliest places on Route44, and their cupcakes as well as the salads are beyond delicious! Read more
