For the last 18yrs we have been a customer of Charbonos. This place never lets us down....same consistent quality at a... reasonable upscale price. Yes it's a higher end quality that you'll pay for a bit more for, however if you want something cookedexactly how it's supposed to be, this is the place to turn to. If it's not done to your liking when it comes out, they willgladly redo it again. Sometimes things are hard to get perfect but they always strive to achieve customer satisfaction.Personally I have always been pleased with the quality of food. On a very rare occasion though, the cook does get in a rush andputs out a bad baked potato or a completely frozen piece of cheesecake---which is totally unacceptable but when addressed, theyhave corrected the issues. When relatives, friends come to town and want the best meal, this has always been the place Irecommend to them that's close by and will provide the best overall experience. For the last 18yrs this restaurant has been onour highly recommended list, so without hesitation I will recommend it to all my followers who are high class and love a goodmeal. Read more
Very slow service. Took about 1 hour and 45 minutes from start to finish. It was not busy,so maybe short staffed in kitchen? My... meal (pictured) was quite good. My son had a seafood pasta that had a sauce tasting like lightly flavored water. His $3 lemonadesat nearly untouched because it was too hard to drink. Our service was outstanding per usual. The house salad was great. It has a nice variety of ingredients. The tirremesu was the... best I've ever had. This place loses a star because of the lasagna. Probably one of the worst ones I've ever tried. Read more
We visit this restaurant frequently because it’s close to home. We love the atmosphere and the food is good. The reason I’m... giving it a 5 star but sometimes there is a lack of attention to detail and not enough staff in the bar. (Typical post Covidissues). I was searching for a place to celebrate our anniversary and found out Charbonos and we made a reservation as it was a Friday... evening and this place was full. There is ample of parking spots in the front of the restaurant. The place is pretty big andhave ample of seating available inside. Once you will enter the restaurant there is waiting area on the right of the receptionand some seatings on the left side. There are tables and booth to choose from and we got a booth in my opinion the booths arelittle cramped so if I will go next time I will choose the table to sir and also preferably choose the seating in the back ofthe restaurant as where we were seated there is a open workarea for the staff but in my opinion that's a eye soar to mepersonally, it should be covered in someway as it was taking away the overall premium feel of the place. Now let's come to theservice and food which was excellent, our server was very friendly and the chef did an amazing job and the food was amazing. Weordered chicken velvet soup to start with and Burrata for appetizers, they also serve the fresh bread which is one of the bestbread I have had in a while. In main course we ordered steak frites and rigatoni which was cooked with perfection and a must tryif you visit this place. Waited an hour for a menu at the bar. The gentleman that came in after me order and finished his pizza before I had a chance to... order. My beer sat empty for 10 minutes before I asked for another. Need to get the bartenders help. If that means the managerbecomes a bar back then the manager becomes a bar back. The food was legit. Steak frites, Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, andtheir bread and oil, all ?????. The service was ?. The beer was 3 inches of foam. Read more
My husband and I decide to give this place a try… I was extremely disappointed! 1. Apple pork chop … was informed by the... manager after it was sent back that It’s prepared at medium by the chef as the standard. The waitress did not inform of thisprior. 2. Glass was broken near our table. The glass hit our legs and I had to request the glass to be clean up so I wouldn’tget pieces in my shoes. I went here once when I was younger and got food poisoning but that was like 8 years ago. We went for lunch and the food was... really amazing! I didn’t get sick either lol I would 10/10 recommend to a friend for a date night but not so much for a familything. It’s pretty pricey my family and I went 5 of us and our lunch bill was over 100$. I also ordered alcohol so thatdidn’t help any lol. Read more
