Servers are kind and if it wasn't for them, this place would get 1 star. Food is mediocre at best... i come to expect that all... mexican restaurants in Indiana are mediocre at this point. None of the mexican restaurants I've been to here put heart and soulinto the food. Just overcooked meat and a fancy spanish name is what they serve for 12-15 bucks... sad, really... i have triedall mexican restaurants in the area and so far this one is better than most, but 3 agaves is almost a carbon copy in quality.Sadly the spanish speaking servers are the only authentic parts of these restaurants here. I've only been twice. The first visit was absolutely amazing! We were a party of four, with two kids at a busy time of day. ... The service was fast, the food was excellent, and our server was incredible. Second time was just a part of two and this timewas less than perfect. It was busy, and the server was in a hurry, but he was just trying to go too fast and messed up one ofthe orders and we had trouble flagging him down, but the food was still great. This is a great Mexican restaurant in Avon. They are always busy, but rarely have a wait. They give you great portion sizes... whether for lunch or dinner. Great kids menu options and the Queso is top notch. Many Mexican restaurants suffer from grayed upbeef but it?s always fresh and delicious at La Hacienda. Read more

My sister and her husband invited us out to lunch here and this was our first visit. We were REALLY IMPRESSED with not just the... food but THE SERVICE was impeccable!!!!! A breathe of fresh air in comparison to what we've experienced other places from socalled fast food to a bit more expensive dining.The decor was AWESOME and we REALLY enjoyed the ambience and all aroundexperience!!!! The hidden gem of Avon. Can't even see it from the road, but they have tons of seating, strong drinks and tasty food. The... fajita tortillas here are at least an inch bigger in diameter than other restaurants, I was full after one of them due to eatingso many chips. Gonna have some sweet leftovers. Read more
