I've been here plenty of times now and it's great! I've gotten a variety of items now but my favorite is definitely the Cayenne... Ranch Chicken Sandwich. The tenders are good as well although I prefer Cane's if wanting tenders specifically. The fries hereare much better than Cane's though and make sure to try the cheesecake dessert jars (especially the Pecan pie one) as they areAMAZING! Read more
The chicken SLAPPED. Our meals were so good we are both giving five stars. Everything was fresh, the tenders crunchy, curbside... ready on our arrival on a Saturday night. I don't understand how the ratings aren't higher. Maybe a rough start? Because thisplace is FANTASTIC. Hard to find quality quick casual restaurants these days worth five stars. You would think this place is in the middle of a war zone with some of these crazy reviews. I walked right in, was greeted... immediately and had my food within three minutes. Very good plenty of fries. Try it yourself before letting the ?customerservice? crowd run you off. Read more
This was my first visit to Slim Chickens. I placed an order for the Chick?s Meal which had 3 freshly made chicken tenders, hot... fresh French fries, garlic toast and a dipping sauce, which I chose Gravy. I also ordered an extra honey mustard dipping sauce.Everything I ordered was good. It was lunchtime when I went in. Bonnie, the Manager, took my order. She was very friendly andanswers any questions I had about the menu. Ciara brought my meal to me and Kris prepared my hot fresh meal. I had a verypositive experience. My meal was nice and hot. I noticed the menu had plenty of options, including Salads, family meals, andsweet treats like brownies. I also noticed they have a catering menu. The restaurant inside was super clean. Loved the aestheticof the entire restaurant. There is even a nice porch (patio) so you can dine outside. All and all I had a very great experience.It sounds like management has changed a few times. First time trying it menu was limited somewhat not too much there, fries were dry and the slim dinner was just that slim.... Nothing there I expected more for $10. Today. Drivethriugh experience: 25 minutes in line, drive-through. Teenagers at the windows were on their phones laughing and... talking.. after about 4 mins she finally put her phone away and turned to give us our drinks and take our money.. I ordered thechicken club meal (pics below) with Dr. Pepper. Second order was the 5×5 meal with Dr. Pepper. Food was lukewarm. Drinks werehalfway filled & flat. Definitely not Dr. Pepper. The only thing that saved the chicken club sandwich was the sauce. That wasgood. The fries were old, cold and bland. No salt. I added the pictures to show the sad fries. The 5×5 meal was decent. Wingswere good. Fries, same situation. Old. We had to ask for napkins & unfortunately there wasn't ketchup left in the bags for ourfries which would be great since fries were part of the order. Oh, lastly, they were out of strawberries so we couldn't try thestrawberry shake. That sounds like an issue with the inventory order aka Kitchen Management. I happened to stop by for a quick lunch, and began my Slim Chicken?s journey through the drive-thru. They advised me it would be... faster to come inside due to the fact they were short staffed. I pulled around and went inside. I figured why not, why not havelunch alone and actually enjoy my time eating. I waited less than 5 minutes, even though they were extremely busy. The gentlemantaking my order apologized and explained he was working a double shift today because the manager was out due to an unforeseenemergency. There was a lady huffing and puffing behind me, even though it was apparent this staff was doing the absolute bestthey could with the minimal staff they had. The staff was communicating extremely well with each other to knock the orders out.They still had a fantastic attitude and were extremely polite, despite what they were going through. I?ve managed a businessfor 20 years, and I must commend these three employees for pushing through and working their hearts out, all while making surethe customers needs were met.
