My wife and I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We loved the location , the decor, ambiance. Very authentic looking... Mexican restaurant. We got seated quickly, and our server was very pleasant. The chips and salsa was VERY good. Salsa tastedfresh and the chips were nice and crispy and had a good flavor. My wife ordered off of the lunch side of the menu, which was thegrande burrito. I ordered the quesa birria tacos. It came in an order of 3 with a hot broth type soup. Our food came quickly andwas hot. I don?t have any complaints other then the food was not very seasoned at all. My tacos were very greasy and the tacomeat was bland. My wife?s burrito was the same way. She had chicken for the meat, and it was bland as well. We felt the pricesfor the entrees was pretty high. But being in Avon lake. Yeah. The rent must be high in this building. I mean. You do get goodportions but I?ve had meals that cost less at other Mexican restaurants that tasted better then here. My wife and I decided to try Rico's tonight. We been wanting to but after going out with friends and them recommending going. We... definitely had to. I ordered the Canpechanos and my wife ordered the ACP. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere of Rico's is socool and chill. The presentation of the food was perfect and very fast service. Israel was one of the best servers I've had ina long time. I definitely recommend to try Rico's if you're looking for great Mexican food. Also the drinks are very good. Read more
????????Absolutely Delicious!???????? I moved to Ohio from a border town in South Texas. Where real mexican food is the norm &... everything else is trying to be. BUT This place. This golden gem called Rico's Tacos & Tequila completely knocked it out of thepark. Walked in, place was clean, smelled clean & is beautiful. The art and decor is true. There's a nice live performance stagewith a fireplace. We were promptly seated by our friendly server. Service was fast, food was hot and flavorful. Appetizer wasthe mexi calamari. Yum! Temp was hot and flavorful. I ordered the Torta.. my number one tester in any "mexican" restaurant. Iimmediately smiled. Yum! (Steak Torta) My husband ordered the lunch burrito, I didn't hear which one sorry. But It wasdelicious. I had a piece. Chips and salsa were incredibly fresh. Guys, I was impressed. Prices are great considering otherplaces like Don Tequila, since they raised their prices, we haven't gone back there but Rico's, oh man, great prices and greatfood. Highly recommend!! This restaurant is absolutely delicious. My food was absolutely hot steaming and flavorful. This place is tucked away in a small... parking lot but it will not disappoint you. The servers were beautiful and the service was excellent. I drove an hour just tocome to this restaurant because my sister told me that it was a great place to eat.
