Food was very good and fast. I liked my beef tacos very much and my rice and beans. We also had a chicken tamale which was good.... Salsa is very garlicky with no other flavor. The tv was very loud and loud music was also playing. Overall great take out spot. Read more

One of the best places you can visit for a well known Mexican food experience. Their taste is more flavorful and served fresh.... The kitchen is wide open and viewable from the dinning area. My favorite is their fluates and tamales. They are also well knownfor their red burritos. The owner of this location is often seen on site and is a friendly loving owner. They also have a drinkcounter that blows away many food restaurants within the area. I am very fortunate to have met the owner and appreaciate her foropening a location in Avondale. Read more

We ate at the downtown and Peoria locations for years and were excited when this location opened, much closer to home. The... dining room is enormous (which apparently makes it a great place to store upside-down tables and chairs) and the glass wallsthat allow you to see into the kitchen are pretty cool. We have eaten at this location at least a dozen times - but not latelybecause we have jobs with normal work hours; this location now has a closing time of 6:00PM - even on Friday and Saturday - andwe just can't get there before they close on most days. We went to the Peoria location last week because we wanted Carolina'sfood on our date night but I didn't get home from work until after 6:00. Service is hit or miss - sometimes the person at thecounter is friendly and sometimes not so much. It is ALWAYS slow. It takes a long time to get the food, and once we waitedover an hour and when I went to the counter and asked about it, she asked the cooks something in Spanish and then said, "We'llget started on that right now." They used to have Jamaica and Horchata but haven't had it the last few times we've gone. I lovetheir salsa and tortillas and my favorite item off the menu is a red chili burrito. Read more

Talk about proper hospitality! Was very surprised to see the owner working her own cash register, answering phones, and helping... customers at the same time. It is hard to find great food AND great service in the same spot. You won?t be disappointed here. Read more

Horrible experience! Owner offered a refund for making my food incorrect and not giving part of my order. She asked me to go in... to retrieve my money for the mistake. Then decided not to respond nor refund my money. I went into the restaurant and she askedthat I allow her to process my refund later and assured my refund in the amount of $35. She processed my purchase withoutrefunding. I also got sick from the food. I would not recommend. I am surprised this place still has a 4 star rating. Honest rating should be 2 or max 3 stars. The food is nothing special here... and borderlines bad. I think a lot of it is just reheated from the previous days or weeks. The place is generally unkept andsome areas are unclean. Employees don't care and they just want to get you to order and get out. Every time I come here no matter whether they?re busy or not it always takes an extra long time to get your food! And they never... have any of the Mexican juices that they offer.!! I came in today at three they didn?t have any of the Mexican drinksavailable, I ask them if they were going to make more they said no they?re getting ready to close.
