Wow absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious (I had the chicken wrap and my fiancé got the burger) and I love me... some crispy fries. We got the chance to speak with one of the owners about potentially having our wedding reception at therestaurant and she was so helpful, transparent and informative. 10/10 recommend if you’re ever in the area - excellent food,good cozy vibe and friendly staff for sure. We decided to try this establishment for dinner on our 12th anniversary. For 6:30 p.m. reservations, the restaurant was quite... empty on a Friday night. That was fine by us. The service was prompt and quite friendly. The atmosphere was fine. We ordereda soup of the day, lemon fried chicken and daily seafood. The dishes all arrived on time and were quite good. The Ridge doesNOT overseason with salt, and seems to be trying to present a good flavour aspect of the food itself. I really like that. Irecommend trying the Ridge. I will have to first admit I do have a problem with this place I love spending money there for the following reasons the cook is... not a cook he's a real deal chef also the owner with his girlfriend and she's just genuinely a wonderful human being the managerTeresa is an unstoppable force of pleasure and will not let you down top notch professional for all of them others which I canname second to none as far as quality service and demeanor. We chose The Ridge to host my mother-in-law’s 60th birthday! What a fantastic night with even better food! There were 14 of us... and we all had a different meal, which was packed with flavour and the portion sizes- holy!! Great prices, staff was so bubblyand friendly! Our family friend Mike is the incredible chef here, and his beautiful wife Kendra was a lovely hostess!! We stopped at a place in Ayr and it was closing at 2pm today. So we had to find somewhere else. Found this place on google and... decided lets go. Walked in and thought this place is too nice, pricess must be insane. NOPE!!!! The prices were veryreasonable, the service was amazing and the food was absolutely fantastic . We were all full and happy when we were done. Thestaff even took a couple pictures for us. We will definitely be back. My wife had a salad, she loved it. And i had the fishand chips.... yum!!! Yummy dinner, and they made me a NEGRONI ... even though it wasn't on the bar list. We ate outside, but since it was our first... visit, I took a peek inside ... what an attractive room! I wore my kilt because I made one for Terry, but unfortunately hewasn't there Sunday. WE'LL BE BACK! Read more
