We stopped at the restaurant for dinner. The food was excellent, the service was also flawless and the decor is great. We loved... it so much that we had breakfast there the next morning before whale watching. Food was once again excellent (just note it is aset menu for breakfast and no frying, which was perfect!). We did not stay here but had lunch. We were going for the whale cruise and were really hungry. There are some eating options... around here - however there was a lot of construction work going on and this was the only one accessible. The food and drinkswere really good and I thoroughly enjoyed the salad- thought it was one of the best I've had. It pleased all my taste buds -sweet, sour, salt and the balance was great. Don't ask me what salad it was as it came with my sandwich. It had the normal greenstuff,sweet papaya and I think sweet raspberries and strawberry. Excellent!!! Portion was not to bad but I thought the priceswere high. Then again it's a remote tourist location. The service was great and timely and they were friendly too. Charming eclectic local lodging with friendly staff and great food. Breakfast was real croissants and locally baked bread. It's... an old house with creeky floors and loads of history. Chill back yard with seats and fireplace. Walls are not very thick but thewarm welcome makes for a great stay. Fatima was a great host. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. Read more
This is a must visit. My husband and I came here for dinner with our 6-year old son. Genevieve, our server, was so kind and... generous. She made my 6-year old feel so special. And the food was wonderful. My son theoughoughly enjoyed the tourtiere and myhusband said the cassoulet was one of the best meals he's had. As a vegan, I appreciated the effort and love that was taken tomake the ratouille. Can't wait to stay here in the future. Great food and ambience. Read more
