Great service, excellent pizza, and great outdoor games!
It was another of those indecisive begining, when the place I'd set out to find was closed until Tues., the 2nd place I thought... up in Fish Creek required a reservation, a 3rd I spotted by the wayside had a sign that read "kitchen closes at 6.30pm". Hungryand agitated I decided to head south on Ave A, after passing one more closed joint I thought OK head towards Egg Harbor &Bailey's straight down the middle. So the first signs of life were at the junction of A and E avenues and there on the southeast corner is the Pizza Czar so the dice had fallen and into the parking lot I drove. There are two buildings and preciouslittle indication which one to choose. Luck was on my side as I walked into the east building. The pizza, strange place, unknownmenu, I'm, by default, going to order a veggie pizza, laughingly looking at it, looked like about 3 times the size I canmanage. That said it was very pizza flavoured pizza and refreshingly good. I Didn't even get through a 1/2 of the 14" pie but Ireally enjoyed every mouthful. There's enough left for two more meals at my pace. Sinse I head for home after tomorrow I doubtthat I'll have to buy any food before I leave Door County and it really was a grand way to end the trip. Great food and a super unique place. Lots of things for the little ones to go do and see. Pedal carts and a full track thru... the woods that turns all over. They even have half a basket ball court to play while waiting for your pizza. Read more

We were looking for a place for dinner and pulled into the parking lot of Pizza Czar on a whim. Everybody was really friendly... and our waitress was kind of enough to keep checking on us at our table under an umbrella even though it started raining and wewanted to keep sitting outside. The pizza was good and very generously sized. We took home leftovers to have the next day for abeach picnic. They also had a really good local beer made in nearby Algoma, WI. We were seated and three wait staff just kept looking at us and walking by. There was a total of 5 tables (including us) with... three wait staff. After 15 minutes we left without any staff even acknowledging us after we were seated. Read more
