Food was decent, but I was very disappointed when I ordered a side of flour tortillas and they were reheated mission flour... tortillas out of the package??. The flour tortillas used to be made in house. Fresh flour tortillas are a must for authenticmexican cuisine experience. I?m not sure if they switched to packaged tortillas because their customers can?t tell thedifference, but I sure as hell can. Read more

This is a beautiful place to visit with wonderful and friendly staff! There are so many cute decorations everywhere. There was a... lot of food and I couldn't finish everything. The ingredients seemed pretty fresh and the price point was pretty good. The friedice cream was not as crispy as I had hoped, but still a fun texture. Definitely a little difficult to eat, but fried ice creamalways is. I also wasn't expecting strawberry ice cream for the flavour. Read more

I had the fish tacos which were pretty good but were very overpriced for what you get. The service was great so that is always a... positive in any establishment. I will come back and try them out again. Very convenient location on the Island. Read more

Came by this place on our way back into Seattle, on a Saturday evening. Service was great, and very friendly. Food was good,... lacked some flavor but nothing salsa couldn?t fix. Prices are average. I?d definitely stop by again if I?m in the area. Read more

When we were seated, the host gave us a menu insert for specials. He said ignore the time, you can order anything off of it. My... daughter ordered an item off of it and the waiter said, "it's after 6." When we said that we were told the items were availablehe sighed and said, "alright, I'll get it for you." I ordered a beef tostada and said specifically that I only wanted thetostada, shredded beef and melted cheese on top, nothing else on it. I order this often and really stress the "only shreddedbeef and melted cheese" part. It was served with beans under the meat. I pointed it out when he checked on us and the serversaid, "yes, that's how it comes." He did offer to bring another but at that point everyone else was almost finished. Our familyof four really like tortilla chips and about halfway through the meal we asked if we could get one more basket. It had beenrefilled once. The bus person looked at the basket, hesitated and said, "I guess", then never brought them. In all fairness, thefood was ok. Read more

A touch of real Mexico here on Bainbridge Island! Delicious! Delightful setting with cherry trees blooming outside the window,... strains of well-selected non-intrusive Mexican music, friendly efficient service, sun streaming in windows, great cup of coffeeand truly delectable breakfast enchilada! I ordered with both green and red salsa and black beans. Perfect delicate crepe-likecorn tortillas filled with perfectly cooked bacon eggs (real, not poured from a carton)and seasonings, with dark, rich, flavorful beans on the side. Perfect Saturday morning breakfast! (and fair pricing) Can also eat outdoors on patio, butrestaurant is large space...perfect for social distancing indoors. I will return often. Read more

This is the BEST Mexican Restaurant on Bainbridge and beyond... It has a welcoming atmosphere and some of the nicest people... you'll meet running it. The portions are generous. For decades (yes, decades), I've come to Casa Rojas on a regular basis andalways get their cheese enchilada platter... they are without exception, perfect. Another highlight is Casa Roja's rice... fantastic. You will enjoy your time here! Read more
