Given we only had the gyro fries and the lemon potatoes. Yet, that alone was plenty enough to feed two adults and a baby. The... setup and decorations created a true Greek atmosphere. I was very happy about all the dishes and photos because it have me anexperience instead of just the food. All be it the small area for eating, they utilized the space well. Food was delicious! Themeat was perfectly flavored and thinly sliced. The cheese tasted fresh and homemade! Even the fries had a unique and pleasanttexture that I'll be craving for the next month. The lemon potatoes have a powerful lemon flavor and the oregano adds a littlebit of sweetness. With such strong flavors we needed to mix our potatoes with rice to settle it down a little bit. This is a must eat place to go to food is delicious had cabbage rolls and spaghetti with a bolognese sauce just absolutely... wonderful and the baklava and everything is made from scratch authentic the owner is a sweetheart found this place by watchingDiners Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network. I drive a truck out of Troy Alabama and I'm always searching for Tripple Dlocations. When in Bakersfield California this will be my go-to place to eat for now on. Read more

We ordered delivery from Athena?s and overall it was really delicious. I got the meaty spaghetti and my boyfriend got the gyro.... We also ordered gyro fries and baklava. The delivery was really fast, which sometimes can be contingent on the app service youuse, but the restaurant had our food done promptly for the driver to pick it up. My favorite thing hands down was the baklava. Ikept eating a bite and putting it down so my boyfriend could try some, but then going back and eating more bites. Eventually Iate the whole thing and told him he wouldn?t like it. LIES! It was delicious! I really enjoyed my spaghetti too. It might benice to have some more sauce, but probably in a separate container because it was dripping everywhere when I got it. They justput the sauce in the spaghetti, in a styrofoam container so be prepared for a spaghetti sauce mess. Also, I ended up taking fetafrom my fries and sprinkling it over the spaghetti, which was extra tasty. As a side to my salad, I sprang for the Atheniansalad, which I would recommend anyone who orders an Athena Special to do the same. It was a great ratio of different saladparts. The fries were good and had plenty of meat. My boyfriend really likes his gyro and ate it before I took a picture.
