So far my favorite Chinese place in all Bakersfield. Food and prices are amazing.

My husband and I tried Cafe Express for the first time last night on a whim and were SO pleasantly surprised! We ordered shrimp... fried rice, pork buns, beef and broccoli, egg flower soup and chicken lo mein and everything was *chef’s kiss* We also ordereda boba milk tea and it was delicious! The portions were very generous and we had plenty of leftovers which was awesome andeverything re-heated perfectly. We will definitely be ordering again! Read more

First Asian food I've had since moving back from Hilo, Hi. & I'll be ordering again. I always try to take a picture of the food... when it arrives but after eating just one of the 8 deep fried sesame balls, taking a picture was quickly forgotten. Finished offall 8 of those, cream cheese wontons, potstickers, & egg rolls. Fantastic food! Read more

Great place to get your fix of asian food. They also have a good selection of boba milk tea

I have some friends over and I ordered a family pack to go. I was a little surprised that they haven’t opened up for eating... inside, for reasons unknown all meals are to go. They have tables blocking you from going any farther then the front area. Theyhave displays dish’s up front containing their main entrees, but you can’t get close enough to check them out forfreshness. My family pack consisted of Orange chicken, pot stickers, Kung pao chicken , white and fried rice were all good. Theorange tofu was awful, no one liked it. I was super excited to find a place that makes steamed pork buns in house. I drove across town to try them out. I ordered the... pork bbq buns and egg custard buns. Visually, they looked amazing! Unfortunately, there was so little sauce on the pork, Icouldn't tell it was bbq. This made the bun more dry than tasty. The egg custard buns had good flavor, but was dry as well. Amazing chinese food! Lemon chicken and s&s pork were amazing, crispy and saucy. Fried shrimp was cooked perfectly and soft.
