Always great eating here. Lately they have been starting to put chairs on tables and drinks away an hour before they close.
I had gone into the restaurant off of Stockdale not too long ago. And the woman behind the counter was kind of shocked that I... asked how she was doing that day. I do Uber eats and we got into a conversation of just been overworked and tired. She was sounderstanding and generous that she even ended up paying for my meal. I don?t think she understood that the only money I had wasfor that meal. It was my only full meal I have had in weeks. I have a special-needs son and recently divorced and I?m just goingthrough a hard time like everyone else. I have to say thank you to that sweet girl. Thank you so much for genuine generosity. If i could give a half star i would. My server today at the Riverwalk store seemed like she was bothered i was askin her for my... food. She was kind of just throwin it together and then rings it up and just asked for my money. Mind u i was standing therewith cash in my hand waiting for a total. BUT NOTHING. Then when it came to giving me my change she just throws it on thecounter. AGAIN MIND U i had my hand out waiting for my change she just drops in on the counter. Im like can u please at leastput it on my hand. She goes oh i didnt see ur hand but she puts my money right in front of it. We ordered quesadillas on the app three different times and always had some issues with our order. They?re pretty slow. The last... time I went to store and asked them to change one of my sides from sour cream to corn and they gave me a dish with two sides andboth were sour cream???? Read more
Over an hour before closing, I was told that there was no more brown rice or cheese. There was clearly half a thing left of... brown rice, and when I asked, they said they'd be saving it for online orders... As for cheese, with over an hour left beforeclosing, and several people in line behind us, they told us that there was no way for them to get any. The service was friendly and efficient. I visited later in the evening so it was not too busy. The employees didn't seem... stressed or frustrated and the manager was helpful. I didn't care much for the layout of the seating. It was efficient tomaximize space but it's not the place to eat of you want to dine with more than a couple friends it'd best to take your meal togo.
