Sad. We got there we waited at the front of the bar of the Cafe itself for 10mins waiting for service. The person comes out and... asks us "do you need anything?" Welp. If I'm here I probably want some coffee or a drink. We told them some coffee. Didn'tnotice but on my receipt they charged me for a shot of espresso when it should be included in a dirty chai. If you google thedefinition of a dirty chai it comes with shot. Then I was charged with Oat Milk and I had no idea that would be an extra charge.They also used Tazo Chai Late......I'm confused there isn't that pre-made already ready to drink?!? Lolz Our shots were notpulled correctly and over extracted. Its a really cute place and its beautiful inside but the quality of coffee is not good. Read more
Waited 10 minutes for help then my espresso shot came out way over extracted and flavorless. My wife's chai tea was tazo from... the store. Will not be coming back. Read more
2nd time in bakersfield only this time our first time in downtown area and only coffee shop that popped in our radius. Coffee... was excellent and their breakfast platter was great. I had a French toast but felt bread was too dense. Read more
The Farmacy Cafe and the Padre Hotel are one and the same. The food is AWESOME but a little pricey. It is well worth it though.... This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is absolutely perfect. Read more
Whoever is reviewing this place highly must not have taste buds. The misses and I wanted to try something new and after spending... $46 on breakfast we literally took like couple bites and left 97% of our food sitting on the plate. The eggs sucked, bacon mightas well have been jerky, the "chorizo" tasted like dof food. Almost puked after trying it. The potatos were good and the coffeewas good also but for $46 this place was absolutely not worth it at all. Will never return again. Read more
We got our coffee and tea from there while we dined in at 18hundred. We recommend B52 and Chai tea which tasted... amazing!???? Also very friendly baristas?????????? Read more
Located in The Padre Hotel downtown, tasty casual breakfast stop. The area is sketchy, so take your belongings and lock your car... doors. Strong espresso and satisfying food. Breakfast sandwich was super filling and highly recommended. The chorizo skillet wasegg heavy and mediocre. The joint lost points because we specifically ordered the french toast with fresh berries and after along wait for all of our food, they brought out pancakes. I had the turkey burger with ghost pepper cheese. If you like a bit of a kick this is your burger!
