I have to admit I was snobby and skeptical about sushi in Bakersfield and JIN Sushi proved me wrong and I'm better for it! I'm... coming back again and bringing more people with me. If you are visiting Bakersfield, you have to give JIN Sushi a try. It'sreally good sushi, great ambience, friendly service and reasonable prices! If you are from Bakersfield, what have you beenwaiting for? You have a phenomenal sushi bar under your nose...get over there asap! I sat at the bar and our server was soknowledgeable and friendly and very efficient. It was a busy night too but I still felt no gap in the service qualitywhatsoever. I tried Nigiri and Rolls and they were all incredible. Some of my favorites were the Mackerel Nigiri, the SalmonRoll and the Baked Scallop Roll. My only regrets. 1. I didn't take up our server on a Blue Fin Tuna special for that day.Life's too short. I will do it next time. 2. I didn't realize there was House Sake (hot or cold) until I had already ordered abottled sake. (Which was tasty) But it would have been nice to try the Jin Sushi house sake. 3. Don't order the bulgogi, unless they change the ingredients. The bulgogi was too sweet which was a bummer since I was expecting... a more umami flavor. Everything else was amazing 10/10 serving sizes were very large, we would definitely go again for theirunagi don and gyoza! Plus the service and atmosphere was great, my daughter spilled my drink so they gave me a cup to go which Iwas grateful for. One thing which doesn't really reflect my review but still maybe other mommas might need to be aware of isthat there wasn't a changing station in the bathroom. Amazing service, servers, all staff, and even the manager checked on us! The food was sooo good! Very very accommodating! The... recommendations from Brian were very yummy! Took home more sushi, and some dessert. Ate outside on the patio, weather wasperfect for outdoor dining. The strawberry mochi and the green tea cheesecake were delicious too. 1st time dining in, wasawesome. We usually have it delivered, always good food, presentation, and packaging.
