I?m giving this business 3 out of 5 stars for a few different reasons. Generally when I come in to pick up meals (not preorder)... I am greeted by kind helpful staff. However, there have been multiple times that this is not the case. It?s always a guessinggame with the mood of certain staff. Today(Monday) for instance, I asked which meals were available. The staff member helping mesighed as though I?m inconveniencing her. One meal from your weekly rotating menu was available according to the staff member.The whole transaction was extremely awkward and uncomfortable for me. I would like to do online ordering but the orderingprocess is confusing? If I?m not saying something right about picking up a couple of meals on the rotating menus please let meknow as my goal as a customer is to do the right thing for your staff. Mordern Grub is the absolute best! Where to begin...the food is always fresh and delicious. At times you can walk in and see... them preparing the meals. My personal favorite, without question, is the Beyond Burger. Something about that vegenaise is adelicacy. I can never have enough. For those of you on a tight schedule and need a fit meal, Modern Grub is your place to go!Or if you simply want to try something new, I highly recommend it. I have only received the best of customer service from thekitchen staff. Jenna, the store manager, has a positive attitude that is infectious- a very wonderful human being. Writing a review based on customer service which was excellent!! I bought my friend a gift card for her bday online and the... gift card didn?t reach my friend. So I called in 10 mins after close, and to my surprise Katie from MG picked up. I could tellshe was exhausted from the day but that didn?t stop her from trying to figure out how to get my friend the gift card. Eventhough I told Katie it would be fine if my friend got it the next day, she wasn?t having it. Katie was determined and on amission! She called me 20 mins later and sorted everything out with the owner and my friend got her gift card shortlyafter. When my friend got the gift card she was thrilled and raved on about how much she loves the food from MG!! So happy Idecided to purchase from MG and looking forward to trying a meal or two when I visit my friend in Bakersfield. Thanks MG forbeing great and kind!! Read more

Modern Grub has taken the difficulty out of eating well. If you're looking to build great health, it's wise to start with great... nutrition. Most people are just too busy, and the MG girls know that! They step in to fill the nutrition void with delicious andplentiful portions. I'll pick up a protein box to travel with if I know I won't be getting healthy options on the road, butthey'll deliver to your house too. I used Modern Grub for a business workshop. They were professional, courteous, and on time. It was fantastic. The food was... delicious and the price is great for budgets. I am so glad I found Modern Grub! I'm always worried about going to health stores and restaurants like this because sometimes... staff can make you feel dumb for not knowing anything or asking the wrong questions. As soon as I walked into Modern Grub, theyoung lady that helped my brother and I answered all of our questions and helped us pick the right meals for us. She truly wentabove and beyond. Then I found out you can order online and it is so convenient for my busy life. The meals are delicious,filling, and have kept me on track towards my fitness goals. Definitely recommend! Read more
