Waited over 20 minutes for my kids? second helping of those ?bottomless steak fries.? Staff was rude, and I could hear them... chitchatting in the back and using foul language loud enough for my children to hear. From the conversation, it was evident theydid NOT want to be there, which I understand, because I also did NOT want to be there once I realized how bad of an experienceit was becoming. Completely unacceptable service, super long wait times for food, and when I brought it up to the manager, I wasadvised that ?if I told her about it before I paid, she COULD have helped me.? No apology, no ?I will address your concerns,?literally no ownership taken for the behavior of her staff. I regret spending $75 there, and I most CERTAINLY will never spendanother dollar there again. I read reviews and was a little hesitant to come to Red Robins. So, this is my personal opinion after having spent some time... there. Food was good. service is good. The only concern is the layout of tables. I think tables MUST be organized better toallow more space to sit comfortably and more relaxed. Too many people pass you by, employees go in and out between those NARROWpassages of tables too.... At some point it really got annoying. Distancing between tables would make a big difference. Today I went in for a "test run" for the cook position I applied 2 weeks ago, got there by 9:21am I left by 10:07am "Brian" The... Manager completely forgot i was suppose to show up, he also forgot last week to let me know he wasn't in Friday, I calledanother manager told he wasn't in that day to check back in on Monday so I did let's me know come in for Thursday for my "testrun". All I did was just sit on a chair as the time went by checking my phone, basically if you're looking to apply here be verycareful with the lack of unprofessionalism with there management this is someone who works in the same profession ppl don't haveyou're time wasted like they did mine. Normally I love red robin, but this visit was sub-par at best. I waited almost 15 minutes to have my drink order taken, when my... server did come around, she was nice enough, but, despite there only appearing to be 1 other table in my section, my server wasalmost never around to get drink refills, or to ask for anything. The fries, which are a red robin staple, were rather cold andbland when our food came out. And, to top it off, after leaving the restaurant, the guest I was with got violently ill. One star because Service was super slow it took about 40mins before the waitress even came over to ask what we wanted to drink,... then took more then an hour for the food to arrive. They were also out of lots of selections on the menu. Gotta say all in allthe service was terrible and the food wasn't even that great. The restaurant was clean, the hostess, Manager, and waitress were all very nice, helpful, and attentive. There was approximately... 25 minute wait time for a table but that is usually the case at this establishment. The manager was doing interviews to bring onmore hostesses and wait staff due to a shortage in staff. Our waitress made sure we had everything in a timely manner and thefood, although a bit salty, was good and tasty. Service was great, hostess was checking in frequently. If you didn't know they have bottomless fries which means after you eat... the ones that come with your order you can request more. You can also mix n match with the different options so if you orderedregular fries but want to try out the sweet potato or garlic fries you can. *Note ask for well done burger if you don't likepink ground beef* There was a 30 minute wait (expected for a Sunday afternoon) would definitely recommend though burgers arereally good. It'd been a bit since I've been here and I have to admit, it wasn't as good as I remember.. sorry to say! The place looked a... little run down, went to the restroom to wash my hands and OMGOSH, you could barely breath in there, it smelled so bad!!! Iordered a mushroom burger and asked for avocado and 2 little pieces that I got were sad looking!! My husband ordered a guacamoleand bacon burger, they didn't even add the bacon!! The only good was the onion ring tower! And I used to love their steak fries,this time around they were a little on the dry side?! I wanted a beer and it was easier for her to name of the beers they didhave bcus they were out of most of them?! Don't know what that was about?
