Cheap prices excellent subs can't beat it.
On September 7th, 2022 at about 4:30pm I had ordered subway at store 21501 located on white ln in Bakersfield California. When... it came time to pay, I swiped my card. A few moments later the worker looked confused and was trying to figure out something onthe system. She then told me that the payment hadn't gone through. I check my back and yes, the transaction had gone through. Atthis point I didn't feel comfortable paying again. She called her boss to explain the situation and the store owner just said"she has to pay again". Again, I didn't feel comfortable with this, knowing the food had already been purchased. I asked tospeak with the owner and they accepted. In this call I was treated very poorly! The customer service was absolutely horrible. The store owner informed me "mam, the payment didn't go through and you just need to pay again, the first one wont charge" Irespectfully declined because I knew I had already paid. She responded with " you just need to pay again and if both payments gothrough you can just dispute it with your back". I said "I'm sorry, but why should I have to go through all of that, all thattime and trouble over some sandwiches?!" I then said look, if you won't give me my money back or the food I will just leave andsort this out later. The store owner then said "no mam! You NEED to pay for the food! It's a waste and my money you arewasting!". At this point I am angry and politely said "no, I do not have to RE-PAY for food that I am not taking!" I was thenthreatened with the police! I said "wow, please go ahead mam, I'm right here in the corner of the store on the phone with youand have not/will not be taking/stealing anything!" She then kept demanding I pay again, and "figure it out later". I finallyleft the store WITHOUT THE FOOD!. This place is terrible, ordered a ?steak sandwich? and didn?t receive any sauce on it. I called to complain and because I ate... the sandwich anyway without sauce they won?t offer a discount or refund. I was told they?ll give me a free bag of chips or acookie next time. I?m be super honest I am not from Bakersfield, when I went to this location I was expecting the staff to be good which they were... but when she was making my sandwich she seemed like she did not care she was throwing it all together my sandwich was just onebig mess . I will not visit this place ever again. Subway has changed their subway club. The turkey slices are so thin that u can not taste... the ham or turkey. When i took it back and asked for a different sandwich, the only one they offer was a 6-inch when I paid nreturn a foot long sandwich. Read more
This location used to be better. Now it's a bit overpriced, and they never have straws for beverages. The food is standard,... though they are frequently out of items, the service has declined but there are still a few very friendly employees Read more
Well I guess the cashier was in a bad mood. She placed my sandwich in a bag to go but I wanted to dine in. I told her dine in... and she just got a tray and throw my sandwich with chips in all on the tray... Didn't even bother to give me the bowls we get atother locations to dine in. Very disappointed... There new menu is excellent! I enjoyed my soup and sandwich.
