Always a great night out. The food is good, the out door deck is so tranquil, the drinks never disappoint, and the music is... always going & after dinner there is a live band. The staff is friendly & quick. Prices are reasonable and can't beat the factit is practically in my back yard. Read more
Food was OK, but horrendous service. Walked in through the back and it wasn't obvious where to check in. I asked a staff who... pointed me in the direction. Turns out the check in station was unmanned. When they came out a few minutes later, told us itwould be about 15 minutes and didn't even ask for our names. After being seated, waited an entire hour just to receive apps(which was only two bowls of chowder) and then another 25 minutes for the main course which must have been sitting a whilebecause neither of them were hot. Service was horrible. Even waiting to pay the check took too long. A nice location, but seemsthey can't get there act together. New England Clam chowder was pretty good and thus a second star. Overall the place was nice, drinks were well made and not expensive. The appetizers were delicious, we got a lobster bisque and... some spicy shrimp. However, when it came to the main course the presentation was nice but the food was lacking in flavor. I gottheir Fish Po' Boy which ultimately was a disappointment. The fish itself was cooked properly but there was just no flavor.Dessert was good though. Read more
I had skirt steak very good I had a baked potato really good. Drinks a strong so be careful. But everything is delightful and... the band was good danced ate just had really good time. Pretty reasonable the prices too. Read more
Get a good band playing here and you're in for a great night. However during the day for food is a big NO NO!!!!One pic shows... the tiny bits of clams you get in either of their clam chowders and the other is avocado toast which is just a smear of oldguacamole. Good place & great food, but honestly this place just isn’t a spot for a huge party… maybe 5 or 6 maximum. If I could make a... suggestion, I’d put more lights for the outdoor dining. It just seemed kind of dark. In my opinion, the benches on the outdoordining area, is too tall where it makes sitting down for a long period of time feel uncomfortable. Overall tho, the music wasfun. People were dancing. Food was delicious but like I said, just isn’t a place for a huge party. Read more
Food is good, Atmosphere is layed back and relaxed. It's an old place on the water where you can hang out as they don't rush you... out. Live music at night. Service is slow but food comes out quickly. Priced very reasonably. Read more
A breezy, sunny setting on the canal ...great for lunch and small gatherings. The fresh sea air and view only accent the... delicious menu offerings. A fun place to dine.. BTW... Sonny's has documented some of the worst hurricanes by showing high waterlevel marks on the restaurant wall.. Cool Read more
