Extremely long wait time. Sonic will not charge you to add lettuce, onions, tomatoes to a burger. Burger King will charge you... extra to ?Have it your way?. Waiting for two whoppers never once did I see FF come out of the fryer. Received my order and FFwere COLD. Ate the burger then went to let them know. You only have 2 minutes 30 seconds to try and get fresh fries. After thatit?s have it our way. Read more

It's Burger King........ Not much more to say. The way we see it is like this, we have limited time when get something from here... and if I see more than 1 vehicle in the drive thru, I will do something else based on past 15 minute stays for our drive thruservice...... However, based on my experiences, I will say that I am under the impression that the manager or supervisor on dutymajority of the time has some control issues. Many times, this person has "chimed in" on the headset if the drive-thru attendanteven slightly makes an error or yelled from the back to the front counter not even giving them the opportunity to do their job,this does not sound good at all to the customer, can be very confusing and does not allow the employee to do their job nor doesit allow them to learn their position or from their mistakes. (Disclaimer: no, I am not nor have I ever been an employee ofBK) The last time I visited the local BK, the same situation happened over the drive thru speaker because I hadn't turned off myvehicle, the drive thru attendant was very pleasant and I had to wait for our food, which was ok, because I ordered w/o onions.However, I drove the 2 blocks to home, the food was cold and I can guarantee that our sandwiches had onions on them and theywere simply removed instead of fresh made. Experience here was comically awful. Decided to try this location, as opposed to any of the 3 locations in Lawrence, because it... had better reviews. That was my first mistake! I got to the drive thru at 6pm on a Saturday evening - perfectly reasonable timefor dinner. I order my first item?a chicken sandwich. And the lady taking my order says they?re out of all chicken. She wasapologetic, all was fine. I order my next item with no issues. Then I order an impossible whopper and was told the broilers wereoff and it would have to be microwaved. At this point I said thanks but no thanks and left without any food. No idea what theywere actually able (willing?) to serve?just beef burgers? Definitely will not be making a trip back to this location! Read more
