Our order was correct, food was fresh, car hop professional and friendly. Sonic is a good "fast food" place to eat.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a Sonic!! Went there on a Friday evening (12/18/2020) to get two sonic... blasts. I ordered through the sonic app around 6:20pm, and therefore prepaid with my card. When I arrived at the sonic, I usedthe app to check into the stall I was at. About 5-10 minutes after checking in, the screen at my stall indicated that my orderwas being brought out. After about 15 minutes, seeing the sonic employees delivering orders to other customers, and seeingemployees hanging out at customers cars while on their cell phone, I attempted to ask the staff about my order via the redbutton on my stall. Several minutes went by before anyone answered our stall light, therefore I called the store directly usingmy cell phone. When the staff answered I told them what was going on, and they proceeded to tell me that their ice cream machinewasn?t working but to hold on for a minute. After several seconds, the lady on the phone then asked me what I had ordered. AfterI told her what I ordered (two sonic blasts) she proceeded to tell me they were out of snickers and cookie dough. Then, a secondlater she told me that she had found my order sitting in the store, and that her coworker must have sat it down withoutnotifying anyone that it was ready. She then asked if I would like my order now (20+ minutes after it had been made). I kindlydeclined and requested a refund. She then acted like that may or may not be possible and put me on hold. A few seconds later ayoung man got on the phone with me and offered to make me something else since my order had been messed up. I kindly declinedand requested a refund again. After 15 minutes and seeing the workers helping other customers, I had to get the attention ofthe worker outside of my window and ask again for my refund. We ordered from the app and the carhop brought our order out. After he walked away my wife noticed that she was given sweet tea... instead of unsweet (due to diabetes she can?t drink sweet tea) so she pushed the button to ask for it to be switched. We satthere for 10-15 minutes waiting on them to answer the button. During this time at least 3 other cars pulled up, pushed theirbutton, and left without ordering due to No answer. Also during this time I could see inside the window where two employeeswere just standing around talking. No orders were delivered to any cars during this time. We eventually gave up and left. First of all, I believe that any one who works in the restaurant industry is to be commended! I?ve ordered at this location... once before and it was a good experience. This last time I ordered, the worker was very rude. I infer something and the pricequoted was higher than I expected and pressed the red button again and asked why was the price sounded incorrect, the young ladysaid rudely that I ordered a combo and a larger Oreo I cream shake. I told her no I ordered the number 2 and a small shake. Shereplied back very rudely and said YOU SAID.......I than said no I did not and you are rude. I than said I want to cancel myorder because I don?t trust you with making my food and if I had to rate your service, I would give you a 0. If they had anoption for a 0, I would on this rate her as a 0 here. I do understand the times were in with high tension because of COVID-19but stoic customer service is essential in this time.
