Worst meal ever! For $11.13 I got a burnt, flat grilled cheese and a cup of "tomato basil" soup. It was actually more like... spaghetti sauce! Three others in my party were equally as dissatisfied with their meals. When I questioned the cashier, she saidI had the ADULT grilled cheese and it was $3.50 and the soup was $5.00, still doesn't add up to $11.13. I asked to speak toNancy the owner and she wasn't there. To top it off, we waited 37 minutes for this awful meal. Do yourself a favor and pass thisplace by. The cashier laughed when I told her I was over charged and offered a free cookie for our extended wait time! I didn'twant the free cookie, I wanted lunch! This place could be so nice too. Very sad to be treated so rudely and have such a horriblemeal. UPDATE Unfortunately, your staff told you what they wanted you to hear. When I questioned what I was charged the younglady at the register recalculated and said yep that's what you were charged. Giggled, turned around and walked into the kitchen. You have such a lovely location and such a great idea for the restaurant, it's a shame you don't have the staff too followthrough. Read more

Adorable house remodeled for a quaint cafe experience. I got the chicken salad on top of a green salad that was delicious. They... sell infused oils and balsamic vinegars which I also took home. Have yet to try them. Will definitely go again and recommend! Read more

My husband took me to lunch today and asked "what sounds good?" I said, I'd love some chicken salad, in a quaint place, and... somewhere new! Well, we searched Yelp and found the perfect place! Head North to Ball Ground (such a sweet town) and rightacross from the library is Lora Maes! White charming farm house, walk in to this sweet cafe and order up at the counter. We bothhad the CS croissant which were homemade and oh so yummy! We grabbed our own drinks of fresh brewed tea and lemonade (refillsplenty) the house displays local artists and sells jams from Maine. It's the perfect place to retreat for a lovely, deliciouslunch. Check their times on FB/Instagram and their menus too. But of course get the Chicken Salad (everything made daily andsourced locally) Nancy the owner came by to check on us and she is so incredibly sweet! Loved talking with her. She even showedus their event space in the back which can be rented out for showers, parties and even Tea Party. My only wish is she would turninto the ole Tea Leaves and Thyme from Woodstock! You are missing out if you don't try this place. It's like our very ownChicken Salad chick right here in North GA! This is my new go to place! Can't wait to come back! Oh and the chocolate chipcookie was so yummy. She has tables and a picnic table too. Can you tell I'm thrilled I found this place! Read more
