On the way home from a Saratoga restaurant we decided to stop here quickly and get dessert and it was almost too many choices I... was so excited about all the soft ice cream dips and Sundaes. I love the ?true to life? Photos they had up on the wall so youcan literally see exactly what size your ice cream cone was going to be from baby cones to - five sizes up to extra-large. Therewere, as expected teenagers serving but not as always expected in most businesses, these kids were sweet, polite and to mysurprise used extreme care in hand hygiene in between EACH order of ice cream ! When to JJ?s with my daughter, we both ordered the fish dinner, it was absolutely disgusting! The fish was in 3 pieces, had no... taste, asked for a roll, got a roll, that was hard, and the young girl seemed annoyed about it, they are not very friendly, mydaughter got her money back because it was so bad, My fish, I cut all the brown tasteless breading off of it, trying to tastethe frozen fish, because of that I didn?t ask for my money back, We left Hungry and feeling like I just threw away 15$! , withmy daughters refund we got ice cream, it was ok, but think I will find another snack bar when In the Ballston Spa area! For theyoung girl working there if you don?t like people, and are annoyed when they ask for out of your norm request, maybe you shouldfind a different job, because customers service matters! JJ's is a great ice cream stand. At least that's what we all thought. Truly it is with good soft serve, Dole Whip (usually),... sundaes, flurries and more. But there's also hot dogs and other great grill and fried food items like chicken fingers andmozzarella sticks. Prices are reasonable and there's a dog-friendly area that also has a playground for kids. Read more

I?ve seen this place packed right like a concert so on a rainy day I snuck in here. The cashier was super personable to the... point I think he knew me. The owner jerry was onsite as well. Cash only so hot your ATM before you hit the shady one on site. I had a crisp 50$ from Miami in hand luckily. I ordered the fish sandwich with frys. Thing was massive, two person mealeasily. Great place for the kids. Big play ground in back looks a bit outdated but kids don?t look at that kind of stuff. Theyhook up the Tatar sauce. The gave me a three gallon bottle and I almost keeshed it on that huge fillet. Talking to jerry(the owner) about cars was pretty cool. Read more
Got the fish dinner with onion rings instead of French fries. The fish was thin and way to crispy. Was not the haddock fish... expected. Onion rings were grease soaked extra $4 to upgrade to onion rings which were about 6-7 rings. Menu said $12.99 fishdinner. Came to $34 for 2. Totally sucked, not like it use to be.
