Overall very average. Welcoming atmosphere with friendly although not great service. Table wasn?t wiped down. Many flies in the... restaurant bothered us throughout the entire meal. Italian wedding soup was pretty tasteless. They forgot crackers and I wastold they?d be right back but was never brought any - had to ask another waiter. For my meal I got the Gobbler sandwhichspecial, which was also nothing noteworthy. It came without cranberry sauce on it, although this at least was brought outquickly. Fries and onion rings both are offered as a side, however we found out later on the receipt that they were upcharges.Suggested gratuity was calculated with tax included. Been wanting to try these guys for a while. First thing I noticed is how cozy the place is. Walked by the desserts on the way to... the table, they looked good. Ordered eggs Benedict, hash, a margarita pizza and a ham club. The sauce in the eggs Benedict hada lemon flavor and tasted like it was homemade. Eggs were a little undercooked for my tastes, kinda runny. Home fries wereaverage. The hash had good flavor. It tasted like they doctored up the cheap hash you get from the store. For a breakfastplace, I was surprised how good the margarita pizza was. Sauce tasted like real tomatoes, cheese was thin but fresh. The doughhad a flavor I couldn't put my finger on. Really enjoyed the crust. Imported swiss cheese on the Ham Club balanced out withaverage grade ham. It was well made and tasty. Service was good. I don't see too many reviews about the catering - I ordered from them for my daughter's baby shower back in August. Honestly, I... was a little disappointed. When I had called with questions regarding people vs serving sizes, I feel I was misled. I was alittle disappointed after picking up the food. We were having approximately 30 - 35 guests. After discussing this with theestablishment, they suggested certain size trays which I went along with. You would think they knew what they were talkingabout, right? Well...not. The trays I received could have served a 100 guest wedding. I paid double the price for trays withfood that was much too much for the small baby shower - so much waste of both money AND food. I also ordered "fingersandwiches.' These sandwiches are listed on their catering menu as just that - Finger Sandwiches. What I received were twotrays of full size bulkie roll cold cut sandwiches. Again...disappointment. To me, finger sandwiches are delicately cut slicesof bread, variously filled. And I would have been perfectly fine with miniature sized rolls - but full sized bulk rolls are NOTFinger sandwiches. The saving grace was that the food was good, but if I were to ever order from them again, especially if for asmaller group, I definitely would go the lower end. I feel like I wasted a lot of money paying for the biggest trays they hadwhen that amount of food was in no way needed - not even close. Read more
