Love this place and their happy hour!!! My favorites are the Old Bay fried fish taco, along with the Al Pastor and hot... Nashville. There's something about the marinade with the Chicken Tinga seems off to me but the previous one stated areoutstanding! The Tres Amigos appetizer is good as well. $7 Margaritas on the happy hour outstanding!!! I think I saw frenchfries on their online menu but they really don't have them. Stumbling through Fed, thirsty, hungry, alone, I made my way into Banditos. I quickly realized that I had found my new home. The... bartenders were warm and inviting, Jerilyn especially. Not to mention beautiful. I felt like I just stumbled into a modelinggig. Food was filling warm and delicious, the CBR taco is my favorite. The beers were cold and Jerilyn was quick to providerefills. Overall couldn?t have a better time whenever I go there. Drinks were subpar, and the tacos were not very good and tasted inauthentic. Primarily country music and early 2000 pop playing... which was weird for a Mexican restaurant. Service was pretty terrible. Waiter rarely came by the table and seemed dismissiveand disinterested in general. I think the server just didn?t care about us because they automatically charge 20% gratuity forparties over 6, which we were. Went with friends for happy hour, not sure how the vibe changes at night. I've been here twice, unfortunately. This is more of a bar than a restaurant. A huge mound of food arrives at the table. ... Three people couldn't/ didn't want to finish the nachos. Let me start by saying that I want to give this place a four, because of the food tasted amazing. However, the service sucked... and I felt like I was an inconvenience to the waiters and their side work. I thought maybe I came during closing, i was there9pm, but they actually close at midnight. I waited for a bit even though There were few people at the bar. I Was pretty muchignored I had to get my own menu. I waited a little bit More, I got a few stares from the wait staff, but no one came over. Ifinally flagged one down and gave them my order. I get it, I was a waiter and there are bad days, and hopefully this was just abad day. But I felt like I was bothering them. Now food. I?m from Los Angeles, and you can?t really beat their tacos. I wasn?texpecting much, considering I?m in a state with very little Latinos. But boy was I mistaken and surprised at how good the tacoswere. I had the carnitas( very delicious, my favorite) and I had the Birria and shrimp tacos. I would definitely give them atry. Portions The tacos were the size of my had and three was perfect for a meal.
