I saw this place on IG and thought WOW I would like to try this place with a few friends and we could sing karaoke. I arrived... with 3 friend on Wednesday. As soon as we sat down i asked do you have any specials and when does Karaoke start? We wereinformed by the WONDERFUL bartender that the Karaoke person is not coming and only specials are on Thursday and Friday. The TVwas not on, the kitchen ran out of wings, and people came in and walked out. They actually started turning out the lights whilewe were there. It was very disappointing to say the least. Waste of $62 and a long trip into the city. The everything eggs rolls had little filling and tasted old. The crab egg rolls... tasted mostly of mustard with the consistency of mush in the middle. There was very little crab and both egg rolls were small.The prices online were also significantly different than the ones in the restaurant. The catfish sandwich had the biggest pieceof fish with the smallest sandwich bread ever. Once again I went out of my way to support a small business only to bedissatisfied and disappointed. NEVERRR EVERR coming back to Celestial Cafe!!! I wish I could give this place a negative star! I drove 35 minutes for slops.... I?ve been to this restaurant about 4 times this year. One time dine in earlier this year, which was good. I tried takeout 3different times and this was it for me! I noticed they will give you what they have left and not what you ask for. Either theyare out of sides way before the kitchen closes or they will give you scraps instead of having integrity with what they serveyou. Each time I noticed the decline in the quality of food but I gave them excuses and continued to support. Lesson learned,I'm done. My food platters were AWFULLLLLL!!!!! I wouldn?t even feed this food to my dogs. One order was completely wrong andthe other they straight up robbed us. For one order, they gave me big jumbo under cooked wings and fries when I asked for jackdaniels wings with collard greens and sweet potatoes. Had to trash the whole platter! I called to let them know but this wasbefore I opened my second platter. At this point I?m thinking this was a joke! For the whiting platter I received 2 very verysmall pieces of whiting (I did pick at it to give it a try), the sides were disgusting. No flavor and barely cooked! The menusays 3 pieces of whiting, so why did I receive two? I trashed the whole platter! I wasted my gas, time and money. This is thesecond time I feel robbed by them. Fourth time here, which was a 1st time take out. Oops! They slipped. Large serving of dry rice, small portion of greens and I... had to put on my reading glasses to find the overcooked salmon. Also pricey. Perhaps a trip to your competitor SB on Harford Rd.is calling. DO BETTER! Read more
The food is absolutely amazing. I jus don't believe in the 15% gratuity on carryout orders. Now, if I dine in, there still... shouldn't be a gratuity automatically unless it's over a certain # of ppl. Jus my opinion. I'm certain tht I'm not the only onewho feels this way Read more
Man what can I say. Food cooked & season to perfection. A little slow..But worth the wait.
Took 2 tries but food and drinks were very good!! First visit was less than expected however the owner made sure my second visit... was worth it!! Salmon nuggets will definitely be a favorite of mine!!!???????????? Read more
