I’ve been hearing the hype for a while. And unfortunately i keep forgetting about it. It is kind of tucked away in a weird... spot. I am super glad we popped in, on the spur of the moment. We had a spectacular meal. They do an incredible job withelevated southern comfort food. The views from the patio can’t be beat. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone. (Notreally much in the vegetarian friendly department, but if you love seafood this is the spot for you). Read more

I rate this place 5 stars based on the exceptional service received. Such a rarity these days. Specifically given by Alecia! ... Her vibrant personality helped make dinner choices. Cocktails were on point. Appetizers were very good and well prepared.Burger was made to order. Only downfall was the seared duck dish was rubbery. It had a very nice taste but was tough to eat. Cindy's Lou's is a great place to come for fine dining. It has a wonderful bar setup and huge fireplace, indoor and outdoor... seating overlooking the harbor. It is definitely a costly restaurant so come prepared to spend some money. The staff we'rereally nice and you can't ask for more. However, the food was definitely not worth the price even though I know the cost of foodhas gone up but I had the seared salmon and I asked for medium and it came out well. Even though it's still was moist but it wasnot the correct temperature. My friend had the halibut but it was definitely overcooked. Overall, the experience was a goodexperience. Parking oh, you can either park on the street or park in the garage next to the restaurant but also be prepared topay. Read more

A wonderful brunch choice. Cindy Lou's is attached to a hotel. Brunch by the water on a beautiful Sunday afternoon worth every... bite. The highlight of my entire dining experience was the service and the dessert selection (banana pudding ice box cake).Everyone from the moment you enter were warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic and generous portions. Read more

We’ve been meaning to come to this spot for a while and even though I messed up our reservation, we were able to sit @ the... bar. We had the sweet Jesus oysters and the green fried tomatoes with hot pepper jelly and pimento cheese. The oysters“looked” small but were deceivingly big and chunky and they knocked it out of the park with the tomatoes. I had the rivertrout with pickled veggies and amazing creamy grits. My wife had the steak with a slab of delicious red wine butter. All thedrinks were right on point and I must say that the bartenders were cool as hell. We will be coming back. Read more

This was my first time dining here. I was with two friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. This place was really cute, and... the setting along the water is gorgeous. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, which were tasty and beautifully plated. Theshrimp and grits were good, but I would've enjoyed them much more if they weren't excessively doused in the butter sauce. Myfriend ordered the brussel sprouts, which were to die for! Several employees came to our table when we arrived for drinkorders. All seemed friendly, however we felt rushed towards the end of our meal. There were plenty of available tables, so noone was waiting to be seated or anything. Our server just came over and gave us the check without even asking if there wasanything else we wanted. Never checked on us for refills or offer the dessert menu. In fact, we asked her for the dessert menuafter she gave us the check, and although the banana pudding sounded good, we felt like maybe our service would've beenappreciated elsewhere. Read more

This is my first time at a Cindy Wolf restaurant. I was not disappointed. Everything on the menu looked good and my family and I... ordered everything. Our server was awesome and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The music was fantastic! We werehere for my sister’s birthday and she was extremely happy with the experience. Unlike me, she was familiar with Chef CindyWolf and was completely satisfied! Read more

Disappointed! We had high expectations for this restaurant given the people behind it. The location is great, but then you go... inside and you feel like you're eating at a hotel bar. We love southern food, but this night's food had no love. The sharedsnack plate was not good. The ham felt like grocery store deli ham. The biggest disappointment on the plate and throughout thedinner were the biscuits. Dense and dry. The fried chicken was dry and the coating grainy. Brussel sprouts were greasy. Thebread oudding lacked flavor. And Everything lacked salt. 4/4 of us at the table agreed this place was not worth the price. Theonly good part of the meal was my cocktail (Potomac moonlight) and the service was fast and staff were friendly. Definitely willnot be coming back or recommending. Read more
