Service today 7/2/22 was awesome, we were under the impression that the normal server for our area was either absent or busy so... Nate jumped in and took great care of us. Very attentive, food came out fast and hot and he continuously checked on us. We werethoroughly impressed. This was our 3rd or 4th time here but service today was top tier. Customer for life! Well I finally took hubby to dine here. Just had to see for myself if this place was worth the hype. The parking lot was packed... but we did manage to squeeze into a spot on the side near the front. Once inside, we were greeted by two hostesses and we wereasked how many were dining. We said two and were taken to the right side and immediately placed into a small booth like diningarea. Our server was Alaura. We were asked about if we wanted to order drinks, which we asked for sweet iced tea. Afterbrowsing the menu, we decided on no appetizers. I decided to try the seafood platter and hubby picked the seafood Alfredo. Myplatter was okay with the exception that the crabcake was a bit mushy and had a lot of shells, and they did not spare on theexpense of the old bay seasoning. The shrimp, scallops, amd the tilapia was cooked to perfection. The green beans were okay too.I asked for extra sour cream, but didn't get it, but the portion size was not enough to cover a med-large baked potato. Hubbysaid he liked his meal too and again had to pick out a lot of shells from the crab meat. I observed the other server in ourvicinity and she was so attentive to her patrons, sad we did not feel we got the same from our server, but if we return, woulddefinitely ask for that server. Had to ask for extra napkins, which took a minute to get, even had to wait over 5 minutes toreceive the check when we asked for it when she last checked on us. In spite of the overall experience, I think we will we comeback or just order the food to go. Read more
Great service and delicious food! Stopped by on my way home from work on 5/12. I ordered the steamed shrimp for my appetizer... and the shrimp n grits with a side of salmon for my entrée. DELICIOUS!!! Marc, our server, was very professional and we werepleased with the food and service. Read more
Visited this place for the first time and I was underwhelmed to be honest.. The outside of the establishment doesn?t carry onto... the inside. It seems very empty and thrown together.. I wish I would?ve captured more photos for reference... The Food: First,the crab balls were a hit! I recommend them! I believe all of the sauces are house-made and they were not as good,unfortunately. The tea was not great as well. Considering it was my first time eating here, I thought to play it safe with thefood and order Fried Chicken. Unfortunately, this chicken was lacking flavor/seasoning and so was the greens. We stopped here on the way home after dropping our son at Stevenson University. We asked one of the University?s staff for a... recommendation and boy we were NOT disappointed!!
