Was looking around for somewhere to eat in Baltimore and stumbled onto this place. Honestly, the food was great. I got the fried... shrimp, mini crab cakes, and calamari. All was really good. I know the location is a driving factor along with the current economy but this place was very expensive for what they served.... My soda drinks were served with slushy straws so I could drink the last inch of soda because of the wide mouth end of the straw.I asked for the crab fried rice and it was just shrimp fried rice with a bit of crab remnants on top. Maybe came off of mywife's order of crab legs lol. Look at the picture for the amount of crab in my crab rice. There weren't any more mixed in therice either. But the food was good. I haven't had this good of crab and crawfish since being in Louisiana! Fresh seafood with perfect flavor and great portions for... the price. One of the best, authentic cajun seafood restaurants in Baltimore! And the service was excellent as well with veryfriendly and attentive staff. I definitely recommend trying this place! Read more
So the food itself is pretty good, we enjoyed our boil bags and they have a giant TV that's cool to watch. Everything else at... this location was pretty bad. They don't have their liquor license yet so no alcohol. The bathrooms are down 2 flights of stairsand are not heated. We happen to visit when it was 20 outside and the bathrooms were unbearable and didn't have hot water. Themeals are designed to be eaten with your hands so you get pretty messy and all they give you is 1 wet wipe and the only sinksavailable are in the bathrooms. We have been to places like this before and they have sinks stationed throughout to clean up,but not here. The location is nice near the inner harbor but this place needs some work and some alcohol. Just been mistreated by 2 African-american staff in the 4-star hotel next door, I hesitated when I saw the receptionists - a... young black man and a young black woman. Before I could escape, the young woman greeted me with a bright smile and the youngman made a funny joke that I laughed. While the young lady assisted me patiently to decide my order, a young Asian looking manjoined them and answered my questions on the origins of the seafood. The food was ready very fast. When I opened the packagein my hotel room and bite into the fresh and tenderly cooked delicious food, my heart sang! Amazing service! Unforgettablefood! Thank you for the great experience!
