Food was good & hot.
I find it hard to believe that anyone enjoys this place, and that it has several locations on top of that... Shrimp was very... fishy. Chicken was a bit dry. Batters for both the shrimp and chicken were completely flavorless. Bread wasn't evenbuttered. Come here if you want a flavorless disgrace of fried shrimp and chicken, I guess? Read more

You're not gonna go wrong with chicken or the fish. Right amount spices and flavor. Good portions as well. Simple country food.
Love this place! Food taste great!...but it looks so dirty on the outside and inside. I work in the area. It's a regular lunch... spot for me. If you go...you have to remind yourself the food taste so good. Otherwise judging on appearance alone...you wouldthink the health department seriously needed to do an assessment. Read more
Really wanted this place to live up to all the hype! While the chicken dinner and the fish dinner we received was edible, it... DEFINITELY did not live up to what all people said it would be. We showed up to this location one evening about 9:15 p.m. didnot realize on a Friday night they close this early but was happy that we made it in in time. After we walked in and wherelooked at as if what did we want, one of the workers lock the door from the outside while myself and a few others who were therebefore me had ordered. We order and wait patiently we are the last couple inside in the last order to be made that evening. Oncewe got home realized we did not receive or coleslaw that clearly came with our meals and the fries were sopping with grease andalso the fish was overcooked just hard crispy no flake we ordered Catfish by the way! I have always heard that hip hop chickenshad good food but this was definitely not a good experience. Maybe we'll try it again, maybe it'll be good next time. Read more
