The food is made with fresh ingredients but lack taste and is the most expensive Mexican food i ever had in the US for portions... so small. They don't advertise prices and i have a feeling they practice different prices for non-Mexicans. Read more

I bought a free chilaquiles and ...OMG this was by far one of the best tasting chilaquiles I’ve had. It was to the level of... how my mom makes and and my mom makes the best in the world. Hole in the wall. AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. I happened to order from here at the beginning of the quarentine time and did not... disappointed. I have not gone inside, so I don't have a clear feeling of the atmosphere inside. I can tell its an authenticbecause the past reviews. Some places like this, don't have the luxury to have servers, and is a culture thing (in some placesof Mexican city), where you order at the register or front desk, pay, take a sit and then wait for your food. Every time I haveordered from here, I get a surprise. We tried to order different things to have a good variety and be able to give a fairreview. The portions are big and I will recommend you to try first with one item and then go big (for big good eaters like me,where you can order and then eat leftovers for another days). The place is not fancy, trendy, or hipster. Please have lowexpectations with being greet and get the menu. This is a place where you order, without being greeted and may pay upfront, thenyou pick your table and eat. I always come whenever I come to Baltimore since I live in Pennsylvania. It’s my favorite place to go. I even recommended it... to my friends! Today, I’m very disappointed because I found a rock in my food like gravel! I didn’t noticed until I bit intomy food. When I told my waitress, an older skinny lady, she didn’t apologize! She just said, “I don’t know what to tellyou.” I guess she went to tell the cook. Not once asked me if I was okay or apologize. She didn’t retrieved the plate untilshe noticed I didn’t want to eat it. She also charged me the plate. I wouldn’t mind if I had to pay at least half of theplate. I’ve never been disappointed of place until today. By the way, it was the Cesina plate, and I found the rock betweenthe rice and beans. Read more
