If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Awful awful awful. The rice is dry and tasteless, the wontons in the wonton soup... were over cooked and the broth tasted like chicken broth. The egg rolls were DRIPPING with grease. So so awful. The only goodthing about this place is the bowls the food comes in. Don’t waste your money. Read more

New ownership.... food is just ehh.... definitely not as good as the previous owners. Still fast delivery. But no credit... cards over the phone or online ordering, even through grub hub. And they barely speak english, so be patient. Read more

Great food, but the delivery fee is 2.00 and I gave a 20% tip and the delivery guy just sat outside calling me until I came out... to get my food. I answered the phone and told him I did not have shoes or socks on but he didn't care. No apologies were given, just a stern "no go inside" as he shoved my food at me. I'll spend money elsewhere going forward. Read more

I have lived in this area for 6 months now and happened to see 'Neighbors Kitchen' on a recent return trip home after visiting... with my family. It is a carry out Chinese and American fare which I was very happy with. The food was classic American Chinese, prices were very reasonable and i was glad that the cashier was helpful and most importantly I could understand her and did notfeel rushed to place my order. Delivery is a $1 charge on an order of $10 or more which I was very happy to know that Dominos nolonger has to be my go-to for delivery. I highly recommend and will be ordering from again. Read more

I would have given them a five-star, but second time I visited and I had to ask for duck sauce. No one lives on suicide house... alone when getting Chinese food. Overall the food was okay. Read more

Tried Neighbor's Kitchen for the first time today with a delivery order. Less than 30 minutes from on-line order placement to... delivery. Everything was nice packed and arrived piping hot. The Singapore Rice Noodles were spicy, as requested albeit a bit onthe salty side, with a nice assortment of shrimp, pork and chicken. The Egg Foo Yung came coated in brown gravy - totally myfault, I should have asked for it on the side. The Shrimp Egg Roll was a bit on the smaller side but still tasty. Our ordertotal brought up a coupon on the Beyond Menu (great app) site so we also got some Crab Wonton (5 pieces). Nice filling but notas crispy. Total price was just over $21 including 15% tip, and delivery fee. Three star rating may improve at next order butstill recommended. Read more

Never again! Ordered food for delivery at around 7:10 PM. I called them 75 minutes later to ask about my order and to tell them... to cancel it if it wasn't on the way. They told me it was on the way and asked that I wait 10 more minutes. 10 minutes later, itstill wasn't there and they allowed me to cancel without putting up a fight. The lack of putting up a fight tells me that itmight not have even been prepared yet. Keep in mind that it had been nearly one and one half hours from the time I ordered atthat point. Is it that difficult to be honest and tell people their order is not on the way when it isn't? Obviously for themit is. Hell, they'll even lie and tell you it's on the way when it isn't. I know that's a typical thing that delivery places do,but not after well over an hour. What about offering a discount or a free item if you expect your customers to wait at least 90minutes for you to take food to them? Not with this place. Barely an apology was uttered. There is way too much competition inBaltimore to ever order from Neighbor's Kitchen again. The worst part is, they still gave no estimated time when I finallycanceled. Did they expect me to hang out until 9 o'clock and wait when I ordered shortly after 7? I guess they did. We finallyate at nearly 9PM at Hamilton Tavern on Harford Road. Luckily, they were still open for business at that time and provided anexcellent meal. Regardless, skip Neighbor's Kitchen unless you order at least 1 hour prior to wanting to eat. Read more

Decided to try Neighbor's Kitchen after it was recommended to me by some friends. The order came quickly and arrived nice and... hot. My family ordered the Shrimp Toast, Crab/Cream Cheese Wanton, Beef Lo Mein, Shrimp and Steamed Veggies and the VegetablePad Thai. The shrimp toast was greasy and bland and the crab/cream cheese wantons were tough, chewy and overly salty. The beeflo mein was good. The shrimp were overcooked in the shrimp and steamed veg, and the vegetable pad Thai was bland but okay. Thereal downside was when I found a hair in the white rice. Really disgusting. Never ordering from here again. Read more
