Food was actually pretty good the only problem i had was with the drinks, customer service, and the environment. The sweet tea... tasted like straight water, I couldn?t even taste the tea so basically i just got light brown water. Then , I replaced that witha Fanta orange and that tasted like tap water orange soda. Also, the wait is super long and everyone who came in was loud andcomplaining about there order. I felt like i was in the ghetto Popeyes on Orleans st/Broadway In Baltimore City. I probablywon?t return because of the ghetto atmosphere. Read more
Normally this Popeyes is great. However the last time I went there the food was not so great. My sandwich was very rubbery and... my cousin said her rice was crunchy. Maybe because it was during rush hour that the food wasn't good, however I give them fourstars because the food and service is normally great. Read more
Had to take a family member to the hospital. Husband loves Popeyes. We traveled 5 miles from the hospital to get his chicken... sandwich. I ordered featured hush puppy shrimp. I declined the drink twice. I was Handed a drink at the window anyway. Receiptsaid Sprite. I accepted it because they charged me for it. 3/4 of the way back I tasted the soda... It was like poison ????. Myhusband turned around determined to get what we paid for, plus some fries for the wasted gas. They said "NO FRIES FOR YOU.Here's a pie." What happened to: "Sorry we made a mistake how can we make it right? " I mean how much do potatoes cost? Lessthan apples at the grocery store. ???????????SAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Read more
My previous review was bad and taken down. However this time I visited I noticed any drinks not picked up, for example sweet... tea, they would dump it back where it came from in the sweet tea dispenser. They also overfilled my drinks to the point ofspilling in the car. As a delivery driver its a common rule to stay away from popeyes but now will never come back again. I usually love Popeyes but my last few visits to this location have been sub-par. The last visit specifically was the worst.... First the coleslaw, was warm and had the texture of sitting out for a long period of time and the taste was off as well. Secondthe 10 piece chicken, it was mushy. Not crispy like it should be. Maybe under cooked? On a good note the biscuits and red beansand rice were good. The really bad is the prices they are charging! Read more
Chicken was cooked perfectly, service was prompt, but they filled the order incorrectly. It happens, but we heard several other... customers with similar issues. Likely new staff. We'll come back again soon because the food is perfect when you crave friedchicken. Read more
Absolutely worst fast food experience. It's late and I have a long drive ahead. Since it's late I understand that it's limited... staff and the wait will be long. I sat 25 mins in total until I got my food. Supplies were low.... again, I understand. BUT Ican only give so many chances. After not receiving a receipt and finally getting a small meal. I began to realize the food Ireceived was not prepared right. First I ate some fries and then realize it had a shimp in mixed with the fries. I am allergicto shellfish!!!!!! Lucky I was able to spit it out instead of swallowing. I still had just enough for a mild reaction. And sothat was a huge waste of money and had to tross the fries. I went to clear my mouth with my drink, absolutely horrible warmsoda... and I'm like okay, this can't be all of the food Maybe the chicken sandwich okay. Wrong the food was absolutely cold tobeing under cook. I was so upset it was pointless to even go back! Clearly the manager doesn't check in on staff who is helpingthe drive thru and food pre just absolutely upsetting, I wasted money for nothing. yes it's like 6 bucks, but 25+ almost eatingsomething that could have made me go to the hospital. I must say that my experience here at this Popeyes, (off Joppa Rd in Baltimore, MD), has been wonderful. I do not usually eat... fast food of any type, (Popeyes is my only-- very, very occasional-- exception). But today I found myself over an hour fromhome, very hungry, and chicken & mashed potatoes just sounded lovely. So I decided to stop here on my way home. I've never beento this specific location/branch. At first, I ran into the bathroom, (long car ride, lol!). It was very clean, everythingworked properly, and the air freshener smelled so good. (Note: I am an aromatherapist who gets headaches. I usually cannot standany air fresheners or synthetic fragrances of any type.) But it was just a slight scent of spices like ginger, cinnamon, andallspice. Lovely. Afterward, I walked to the front counter to order. I took my time looking at the menu, (not blocking anyoneelse or holding up the line), and nobody pressured me to hurry up at all. In fact, they smiled and asked if I had any questions.There was almost no line; the wait was all of 1 minute. I stepped up to order, and it all went smoothly. My change was correct.They didn't mind that I added an order of Mac n cheese at the last minute. I stepped to the side to put my change in my pursewhile they got the food ready. By the time my money was put away, they were handing me my bag of food! I'd forgotten to ask, butthey stopped me and asked if I wanted any sauce & pointed out where the straws were located for my drink. I thanked them andwalked over to take a seat in the dining room. The tables were clean, the overhead music was playing low, the lights werecomfortable and yellowish, (not fluorescent, which tend to give me headaches). The food was hot, the order correct, and it alltasted delicious. They'd put napkins in my bag without my asking for them. The receipt was there and correct.
