I was born and raised in Kunming. It’s very touching that I’m be able to have hometown food around the area. The XiaoGuo... Rice noodle is my favorite, it tastes like home. Remember dine in is a much better choice. I just tried The beef hotpot today. Iwas amazed by how authentic the pre-made dipping sauce is! Read more

I'll first say that I've been ordering from here on Uber Eats for a while but finally came into the restaurant to dine in and it... is 100% worth a visit and I will definitely be back many times over. I had the braised beef noodles which were amazing. Beef wasincredibly flavorful, broth was great and not too spicy + there was more than enough that I could take some to go! I also triedthe sweet cauliflower and it was so good and fresh!! The service was also incredible - Ellie and Larry were so so sweet, it'sclear that the owner & team puts lots of love and care into the restaurant. A Baltimore gem :) Read more

We walked by and saw that their menu looked really good and we did hotpot. We were expecting to be able to cook our own food... from raw and/or frozen, but everything was already dunked on the pot precooked. The soup base for the hotpot was very heavy andfilled with grease and they only offered red meat (beef) for their hotpot. Sadly, their broth tasted very bland and all I couldtaste was the oil. Overall, I was not impressed and felt really underwhelmed. The amount of grease in their food made mystomach a bit queezy. Read more

Pretty good flavors overall. Favorite items: fried potatoes, cauliflower Definitely be early for your takeout so things... don’t get soggy. Their to go containers don’t have steam holes for fried food so our stuff became a little soggy. Thewontons were our least favorite part. They were falling apart and had a kind of odd flavor. Between the texture and flavor weonly ate a few. The noodles were also over cooked by the time we started eating so think about that if you’re getting takeout. Read more

We noticed the restaurant on various social medias and after seeing the reviews we decided to give it a try. Yunnan cuisine is a... very special cuisine in China, not so well known to many people in the America. Every dish we ordered is very flavorful andtasty! Being so used to the price vs. portion of food in Manhattan, we ordered what’s considered as “normal amounts” butwe ended up having too much food! 200% worth the $! Especially recommend fried potato and beef hotpot! Read more

My boyfriend and I have been here 4+ times since August, even though every time it takes us a while to get there. We both love... their dishes, especially the noodles. My personal favorite is the zajiang noodle. It has a mixed flavor of sweetness, sourness, and the umami from ground meat. My boyfriend LOVES their crossing the bridge noodle, which is a traditional dishes form Yunnanarea in China. The staffs are friendly and they are practicing CDC guidelines to minimize COVID-19 transfection. They also haveoutdoor sitting. Highly recommend for people who love rice noodles and/or want to have a taste of real Chinese cuisine! Read more

Was really excited to try this restaurant because I thought the concept was very neat. Ended up being extremely underwhelming... tho. However, I know that the Chinese eat very light broths with clean finishes. For me personally, these noodle soups did notdeliver the flavors that I expected. But they are prepared properly and true tradition. The fried pig feet were really good tho. Read more
