I come here weekly, easily the best place to eat in Bancroft. Cold delicious beer, great service and great food. The patio is... great in the summer and the staff is all very friendly, often we get Justine as a server and she is great, very fast andattentive, and makes me want to come back. Good food, decent service. I felt that where they seated us was a little too close to other tables. There were plenty of other... tables which were spaced apart better. I should have asked to move. I know we want to forget about the pandemic but we don'thave to get stupid and cram people together like sardines. I would have preferred an outdoor table, but there's very few andthey were all occupied. Read more

Another gem. We have been coming to Bancroft for years. But we never stopped in. Well, this time we did and were we glad?! Food... was amazing and the Ceasars fabulous ????. Montreal meat on rye, brukrew chicken(my fave),steak w mashed potatoes and seasonalveg , For starters we had Bruschetta (yum O) and the pulled pork rolls I think. Soo good. My partner and I stopped in for a bite to eat and were impressed. We went in not knowing what to expect but glad we made the... stop. We ordered a flight of beer, Caesar, Pulled Pork Egg Rolls, and two Caesar wraps. All were very good. This is a greatplace to grab a drink and enjoy the day. Read more
I went out for a family lunch and it was our first time visiting this restaurant and pub. Our server was polite and attentive,... the atmosphere was inviting and lively, and the food was delicious and offered generous portions.
