Adorable cafe in town. We got take out and ate it on the covered picnic benches.
I had the goat cheese and roasted red pepper sandwich with a chai slushy and a black forest mini cake for dessert. The food is... always so good but the desserts are little masterful treats. Definitely check it out for lunch and get treats to take away. Read more
I dined in. No one told me I would have to stand in the takeout line to pay my bill. Had to leave a senior lady outside to wait... till I paid. No one asked to refill our drinks. Sandwiches had very skimpy filling for the price. Will definitely not goback. Better places in Bancroft to have lunch. Read more
This is the best place I've been in a long time for a sandwich. They do really good paninis Using really awesome bread with... great flavor inside. A nice rainy meal with our dog on the park benches outside with delicious food and friendly servers. I wished the menu was a bit... bigger for outside diners (some of the dine-in sandwiches sounded great!) but maybe I just didn?t understand how everythingworked. Definitely check it out! Amazing food and atmosphere! Got the beef and barley soup, a salad, a BLT, raisin butter tart, coffee and iced tea. Everything... was delicious and as I sat in there, folks came in raving about the food and cheesecake. I'll be making this place a regularstop whenever I'm in Bancroft! Read more
A Love ?? is baked into every cake Here. I?m not joking. It?s a game to find the heart amongst the pieces cut. A wonderful lady... named Tracy manages this quaint ?not for profit? cafe which raises funds for the Bancroft Community Transit organization; Allthe funds raised go towards helping this community stay active. They make getting to activities, easier for folks who wouldotherwise be isolated. Tracy and her team of 2 love to bake and make homemade soups. Many of their recipes are family recipesdating back 3 generations. In fact, the first cake, that Tracy baked for the cafe, came from her Grandmother?s cake pans andrecipe. When Tracy was a wee girl, her Grand told her, one day she?d bake beautiful cakes for people and here she is!Heartwarming. Stop in and let yourself fall in love or give the Ladies at the cafe a call the day before to order a cake ordonuts, for pick-up. Dining in, is also an option for lunch. Read more
A quaint little place. Holds around 25 people? Had a nice lunch. A toasted BLT in hearty grain bread. Perfectly made. Others had... a salad. Baby spinach, pecans, cranberries, with goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Had a huge ginger cookie thatwas delicious . Read more
