Mexican food is about fun fiesta vibes, sadly the food served here lacks that. The wings had no salt in them ( turning out to be... a trend in Banff) and the beans were not creamy and had uncooked bits. The server was very friendly but the food took eons toarrive. Came here because there were hour-long waits everywhere else in the vicinity and they had an opening. Food was tasty and... reasonably portioned. Staff were nice but very chill, it was a bit slow to order, but it could be because of where we weresitting (along the wall) so we didn’t have a dedicated server. Prices were a bit on the expensive side in my opinion, butBanff is very much tourist town so all the restaurants are expensive. Read more
The staff were very friendly and had a nice vibe with the saloon type bar. Service was very quick for food and drinks. The food... is a good portion, I would recommend sharing a burrito combo as they are pretty big. Food is pretty expensive however and didn'tpack that much of a flavor pallette. The hot sauce and cheese queso was good. I wouldn't say the food is worth the money, drinksare about $15 for margaritas or anything other than beer. The drinks tasted amazing though! Read more
Came here for a quick dinner. Got seated quickly and the staff was friendly and food came out quick and hot. I had the beef... enchiladas which came with red beans and rice. It was very average but did the job of filling me up. Fairly noisy place but hadsome good vibes from other patrons and the staff seemed to genuinely be interested in making small talk with the variouscustomers. Overall I probably wouldn't be going back but it was worth a try. Read more
We stumbled upon Magpie & Stump on a hunt for Mexican food, and it was great! The guac, salsa and chips were honestly a... highlight. My husband really enjoyed the enchiladas, and I thought the tacos were pretty good, just not as flavourful as Iwanted. It’s got a good vibe and the service was great and super quick. Read more
First time trying this place and it was great! Went for Tuesday Lunch and tried their Tacos and Burrito. Meat flavour was really... good. Will definitely come back to try their other meals. Read more

Interested mix of eating Mexican food while in the heart of the Rockies, but really worth it. Really enjoyed it! I’ve had a... lot of Nachos in my days, but these were top notch!! Reasonable prices for food, a bit overpriced for drinks (e.i. Glass ofsangria - $15), but the food is great! Read more
