Amazing place. The view is impeccable if you're seated next to the window. More importantly, the kitchen cooks really good food... and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Most importantly, all foods are reasonably priced. We thought food at suchplaces would be overpriced, but no, it's even cheaper than some restaurant we visited inthe town. Only drawback is that thelunch menu collection isn't very wide. The dinner menu seems better. I'd rate 4.75 because of that. But we're giving stars so Ithink I'll still give it 5 stars. Read more
Delicious food with an amazing view. Secure a reservation early as tables are somewhat difficult to come by - lots of folks... standing outside waiting for a table without a reservation. Don't forget to book your gondola ticket as well. 3 hours was plentyof time to explore the observation deck and have a meal. Read more
This place is amazing! We made a reservation a couple weeks in advance because the lunch time slots fill up pretty quickly. The... view is stunning and the food was really good too! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Five stars are not enough! The service was top notch. The staff are super friendly and went above and... beyond in every way possible. The views are out of this world and the food was delightful. Also their cocktail menu was veryimpressive. We came here with a big group for our wedding dinner and created the best memories. Dinner a la carte made a reservation a month in advance. We did not get a window seat. We were still very content with where we... were. However if you are going there for the view, don't reserve with a large party as most window tables are for 2 peopleonly. Going up the gondola is so cool!!! There is a speaker inside talking about what event is happening at the top. It's ashort ride up and once the announcement is done, you do get nice zen music and then silence to enjoy the view in peace to thetop. There is a walk to the other peak and some outdoor decks on multiple floors to see the views from as many angles aspossible. With nice signs naming each peak you see around with heights. Now about the restaurant. Wonderful menu! Great optionsfor all food restrictions. Delicious. Good portions. Lovely cocktail selection. I do not recommend for large parties (morethan 4) especially if you want a window seat. Read more
Incredible quality! The food and drinks here are on another level of great dining. You can taste the fresh ingredients... throughout everything and they made the juiciest chicken you could ever imagine. The drinks were a little pricey compared to theindustry average for their quality but nonetheless overage in taste. Our server Lisa was lovely and tentative throughout thewhole experience. Read more
Such a nice view out there, the food was awesome, and so with staff. The chef even came to me and asked about the food. Truly... enjoyed the view. It’s ideal for partners and even families too. Sky Bistro was the perfect way to cap off the gondola ride and sightseeing from high above Banff! Reservations are encouraged.... The food was excellent, the drinks menu was deep, and the service was awesome. Everyone was so friendly ???? and you could tellthey really cared about each patron. It’s worth every cent.
