The place is clean, smells great! The workers are very sweet, kind and helpful. The food is awesome! My third time there and... will always go there. The appetizer of chicken nachos is excellent. I remember years ago (long back when) the pub didn't have a very good reputation. THIS IS NOT THE SAME PUB! Even from a few... years ago, the interior has been significantly update and renovated. The food was delicious! This place has come a long wayand we completely enjoyed our meal! I got the chicken cheese steak and the sauce was really good. We got each of the threedesserts and they were also very enjoyable! I highly recommend the restaurant! Read more
Had family in town and didn?t feel like driving so we walked down to the Broadway Pub. The bar area was loud and we had an... infant with us so we chose to eat in the back dinning room. There were enough food options to choose from-appetizers,burgers/sandwiches, and full entrees. Our party of 7 tried a variety of items. All were happy with their choices. They were outof one of the craft beers that we chose, but had other options. Two tried the mojos but they were not very good. The back diningroom could use some ambiance. It was sort of bare-and a couple tables and looked like a second though where it could be a greatroom. Servicer was very pleasant and friendly but overall service was slow. Food was great and I love the new menu items. The service was great and the staff was very nice and even the entertainment was... great and very considerate about the fact that we were there with our kids. We didn't make him do any different songs because ofprofanity but it was awesome he asked us. Definitely will be going back again. Read more
If you love Burgers their smash and the Broadway Burger are the best around. Family friendly atmosphere and great staff and... bartender. Try their blackened fish tacos as well. Read more
As per your reply: there is only one thing you can do as a business to make it better. Apologize for the inconvenience and not... attack your customer. Our review is not an attack, it?s simply a reply after not getting much but attitude from you. Scoldingyour customer when they politely call and state ?hey I?m sorry it looks like the fish I received is raw, could I maybe get arefund?? And then telling them that they are wrong and don?t know what they?re talking about, is just not right. Happythanksgiving. The other businesses we patron at in Bangor, and there are many, all have done nothing but be friendly and wecontinue the good relationships we have. My husband called to inform them that our fish was raw so we?d just like a refund onthat one item. After first informing my husband what raw fish actually looks like and that we?re wrong, then yelling to consultwith the chef what fish they actually used, (mahi? Snapper? They weren?t sure) they then said that they can only give us a cashrefund if we come back into the restaurant. This place has our credit card information from this order, and we?ve orderednumerous times and they still made this for some reason difficult, gave a lot of attitude, over $16 tacos that I couldn?t eatwithout getting sick. Every now and then we spend at least $50 at the pub to order a meal, tip generously at least 20% and100% of the time something is wrong. We?ve never be called, never complained, never left a review. The attitude is absolutelyunacceptable. It is clear you don?t take customer service very seriously. During this difficult time we try to support ourlocal businesses and be kind, forgetful when it comes to little things and mishaps because we are in a very tough time, butafter numerous chances and your continuous nasty attitude, we will no longer patron at your business. 3rd photo (because youwere stern on teaching us what raw fish is) is me holding a cooked piece of fish next to a raw piece of fish. Wings! Must try - made just right. Tender and juicy on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Small town pub feel with... very good food. A locals vibe, meaning this is where the people who live nearby eat/drink. Not just a drinking bar either -plenty of families dining in and although the quantity of food is limited, the quality is high. Good beer selection - not goingto find rare beer on draft or anything but a nice variety, that should be sufficient for the average beer drinker. This is nota cheap dive bar. Read more
Friendly little pub in the center of town. Rainy Sunday evening, football on all 3 TVs, all-ages crowd, mostly locals I think.... Nice draft selection; reasonable prices for fantastic food. Monster plate of insanely great nachos w/braised short rib, $13 fromthe Appetizer menu, was easily dinner for 2, and coconut shrimp special, good count, well fried & tasty, at $12.
