In town to enjoy some snow and slopes for the weekend. Googled this place and had to try it. We ordered the southern style and... red chili wings as an appetizer. Absolutely delicious! Well seasoned and cooked perfect. The ranch is also very tasty! Catfishdinner with red beans and rice and collards were my main dish. Very flavorful. Did not disappoint at all! Ordered the voodoopasta and smokehouse combo to take back to our cabin. Got to try a locally brewed honey amber beer and cider it probably one ofthe best I?ve had! Our waiter Blake was very attentive and on top of everything for us. Everything on the menu looked good andwe couldn?t decide but he was very patient with us and even recommended a few dishes for us. Hands down a 5/5! The overall vibeand atmosphere is welcoming, The music playlist is fire, the food and service and top notch! The drinks are great. We stumbled upon this wonderful little restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. It was so good we went back a few days later. I... had the chicken fried steak special, and it was the best I have EVER eaten! And I?ve had a lot in my life. The brisket was verytasty, and the barbecued pork was delicious. The beer list had a number of great brews on draft and in cans. Zack, our waiter,went out of his way to be sure our meals were perfect, so we asked for him on our second visit. It was a busier night since itwas Friday, but he still managed to take great care of our table. The MLB playoff game was on TV during our first visit, and theguys at the bar were very excited and a little loud. It was back to normal for our second visit. The old fashion's were good. The Texas combo was ok. I have had better and I've had much worse. The mashed potatoes with white... gravy were on point. The meat could have been more tender. Spicy, adventurous, cajun food. Not to kid friendly. I got the cajun sampler dish with a house salad. I enjoyed the red beans... and rice. The shrimp creole was good when I didn't get shells in my mouth. The craw fish stuff was not so good. Read more
Great atmosphere, music, and service. I had the brisket, which was great, but a bit spicy for me. The zucchini fries with house... made remoulade sauce were fantastic. I'd definitely recommend it. Very enjoyable dinner. Cajun and bbq is not necessarily quintessential mountain fare, but sometimes a hankering for Cajun just... can't be ignored. Additionally we were drawn by the outdoor seating and live music in the adjacent courtyard. They allow you tobuy a bottle of wine in their shop and they will cork without a fee. Tried some local beers they have on draft. Food was good,not outstanding. Cajun voodoo pasta was tasty. Gumbo and shrimp Creole were also good. Server was nice and down toearth. It's a Lousiana/Texas themed bar and they did it right The menu had a good selection of different foods. The bbq platter was... good all the way through. The BBQ was smoked well. The food comes in large portions and is incredibly tasty. Very well spiced and flavorful. We loved everything we got here for... lunch. The atmosphere felt like a typical Mount bar/grill, with some tasteful music. Service was friendly. Read more
