Classic country drive-in. Worth the stop for the milkshakes alone. ????

It's a nice place. Did mess up our order however. Food was good though.

Gooseboro has been a favorite stop since I was a teenager. Always great food and service at reasonable prices. Their ice cream... selection is also awesome. Always a great stop. Read more

Old school road side burger/dog/ice cream joint in Bantam/Litchfield CT. Been there for over 60 years and dependably the same... each year. Good burger and dogs, soft serve cones and malts....the standard fare and pretty tasty. It is REALLY pricey (yeah Iknow it's a one-off local joint so you expect that to a degree). A burger, fry and soda will put you back $15 or so. Can be apricey outing for the average family of 4 if you add ice cream. But still, great throwback road side joint. Don't forget yourcash! They don't take cards! (Nice if they'd change that) Read more

Cute place on the side of the roads but unless you're getting a hotdog and whatever sundae special of the day, the price racks... up pretty heavily. Family of 4 was $60+ mainly because toppings are $1+ extra each and sides are $5+ each.. Unless you're finespending a bit extra for average food wouldn't recommend as a family lunch stop. Decent for solo eating. Read more
