Enchilada order came without enchilada sauce as offered on the menu, and overcooked with burnt hard cheese and dried out... tortillas. Not their best work. I've had better from here, but quite awhile ago. Read more
Wasn't good, the brisket was ok. The keilbasa was ok. The potato salad was gross, fries were soggy, baked beans were sour... tasting. The BBQ sauce wasn't that good. Wasn't worth the drive from Stratford. We went there after an article claimed it wasthe best BBQ in Connecticut. I'm not big on giving bad reviews but when there's an article claiming it's the best, and that'swhy we went, it was very disappointing. Should have tried the Mexican food instead. Read more
Wood's Pit has the best barbecue and Mexican food in Litchfield County. Fall off the bone ribs, tasty pulled pork and my... favorite, beef chimichanga..many sides and apps to choose from with a real country atmosphere..8/21/22, stopped in again and hadthe beef chimichanga with sides of Mexican rice, refried beans and guacamole and it was still remarkable and very filling.. myfriend had the chicken who remarked that it was very tender and delicious. With great prices attentive friendly... staff and a decor and atmosphere that will make you feel like you're eating at your best friend's mom's house. Make sure toorder the burnt ends for a starter.
